NSD number 4 Spoon as hubbie managed to get to mate's house (and back!) without needing more diesel :j though we will have to put some in first thing tomorrow morning on way to car boot

Did not manage to catch up with the thread last night so I MUST do it tonight

Edit: forgot to say - poo bags
They nearly spoiled my NSD plans as we had run out on Tuesday and had to scrabble around in the car to see if there was any in there (2!!) and then use carrier bags but we got through - will get more in the morning

    BDINI,

You made me howl with laughter and its was only around 8.00am, was feeling a bit overbrained from yesterday and you sure cheered me up, family think I am a mental gibbering headcase, rolling around laughing at the crack of dawn, thank you, must visit some time, sounds fascinating!!!
I reckon BDINI's house should be our next outing - think we'd be right at home there

PDD & Spoon the more the merrier, you & the rest of the NSD gang are welcome any time. Just make sure you bring your pj's & your singing voices & i'll provide the cheap cider & the alleyway!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

CW18 - well done you :A it sounds like you really deserved the chocs, so hope you enjoy them!!!

& for the sensible bit of the post, i'd like to report NSD 2 today :j :j

Number 2 for me today please Spoon!! :):)

Hmmm, drinking cider in pj's at BDINI's - thats my kind of night! Rubbish rubbish week at work, a good drunken sing-song would sort me out a treat. Sadly its an early night with a cup of tea ready for another day of carnage tomorrow. Goodnight all, will hopefully be back in a better mood tomorrow! xx

Was convinced I posted yesterday but maybe I was drinking too much last night lol! Had a nsd yesterday but then lunch looked too dull today so I had to go to the butty shop and was very naughty buying chips and gravy:j. So that makes 3 so far in May (am quite impressed by myself so far) Know I have spending to do tomorrow though.

Stuck with the wedges, yummy yummy. Was lazy though and didn't have anything near as exciting as you did Tixy, just had fried eggs - my favourite "can't be bothered" meal :o.

I think it's safe to declare NSD 4 today - curled up watching channel 4's election coverage, not going anywhere, apart from perhaps slowly around the bend.

    No NSD today.

Decided to pick up my 'essentials' (having done a vague meal plan for the next few days) on the way home from work. Choices of meal for tonight meant either getting frozen veg (with meat and mash - using some 'sprouting' spuds - that I had in) or mushrooms and salad stuff (to have with omelette using eggs, cheese and ham I had in). So seemed more sensible to buy the lot in one go.

Picked up mushrooms, lettuce, cucumber (already had toms), frozen peas, frozen sweetcorn, a couple of garlic baguettes, margarine, and Whoopsied mozerella (x2 - looks like h/m pizza at the weekend), breaded ham (x2) and brocolli quiche from work. Then over to A!di for milk (x2 due to date on it, otherwise I'd have picked up 3) - and also picked up some 'long life' pre-packed Ravioli (out of stuffed pasta, but have sauce in freezer and also some jars of sauce for serving over pasta) and a pack of 2 part baked baguettes (to have with omelette tonight as a treat).

Got home, made tea, looked at the remaining mushooms, and decided I had enough to either do Chicken Supreme tomorrow or make up some Spag Bol for use in the next week (and freezer).

So I went back down to work to get some more (while I was already on a 'spend day'), and ended up picking up mushrooms and potatoes plus the burgers I'd realised when I got home I'd forgotten earlier, followed by (all Whoopsied) almond croissants, small french stick (for DS tomorrow), honey & sunflower rolls (I love these warmed in micro, split and served with honey for breakfast), a piece of Brie, a salmon fillet in a Yellow Thai marinade (prepared to try for 49p instead of £1.69) and a multi-pack of 6 bags of s&v crisps.

So it was omelette and salad tonight, tomorow is almost certainly chicken supreme with rice (and veg), and in the next few days (from freezer and using what I bought today) we'll have roast chicken with jacket spuds and veg, spag bol, h/m pizza, fish in butter sauce with rice (and veg), and burgers with ravioli and pasta sauce.

So (other than milk!) I should be able to get away without any more food shopping until next Wed/Thur :) I don't need any toiletries or cleaning products either (I was eyeing up a shampoo/conditioner offer at work, but kept reminding myself I have enough shampoo for now and heaps of conditioner already), so as long as I can keep myself away from 'other' (CDs, DVDs, household bits-and-bobs, clothes, books etc), I should be able to rack up a few more NSDs in the next week :T

Poo bags to you too...........and then I realised you meant you didn't have any :rotfl:.

Which reminds me, we took our dobey to the vets today for annual check-up (budgeted for so still an NSD). One dog decided he didn't like what the vet had done to him and did his business all over the floor........and it was a very big messy one. My DCs thought this hilarious until the smell wafted over to us and they started making gagging noises and covering their noses. Charming children:o.

Then when we were with the vet we asked for doggy-woggy's nails to be clipped as last time DH did it he cut too far down as he couldn't see the quick in her dark nails. Vet asked if we had done it before, DH said no but DS2 then said "Yes you did Daddy, there was lots of blood". DH couldn't find a hole big enough to crawl into :rotfl: .
Life is knowing which bridges to burn and which bridges to build!

My cat did that once when the vet was prodding him around a lot - he just sat down on her bench and did the hugest pooh you've ever seen - I didn't know where to put my face:o:o
