Morning everyone - made it no 2 yesterday - well chuffed!
Today def wont be, as car going in for MOT and service. This is the "good" car, so it shouldnt need a lot doing to it ( famous last words!)
While its being attended to I'm off for a mooch around the shops, there's a b&m near the garage - ( always fatal);), and a shop called Ali's Cave which sells cheap wool for my baby hats. After that I'm meeting my M&D for a coffee,so rather a nice morning planned!:)
Off to update sig, have a lovely day everyone!:A

It took me about four hours last night to figure out why 'batteries for a toy' was TMI. This done, burst out laughing, woke OH up and told him. Regretfully not that interesting - not that kind of toy.

Yesterday was no2 for me, no chance today as the car is demanding more fuel or refusing to take me home from work. Its worse than a man or a donkey with its demands it really is...

Had a great meal out last night, and not as expensive as we thought it would be. We had a booking for 7 and the special deals were still on from lunch time (set prices for two or three courses). We had planned on their "Discovery" menu at £35 a head , but decided we didn't feel hungry or flush enough for that!! So a lovely evening, great food, attentive staff (lots of iced water delivered regularly - and for free!) and a fantastic venue...not as over-the-top as I imagined LLB could have been...just right really. I LOVE Art Deco....there were some lovely glass panels near us so I had a great time studying them throughout the evening...I didn't ignore DH, honest, well, not much!!
OK, going to declare today as an NSD, so that's 3 for May now, not too bad I suppose! Not planning on going out at all, except to vote. DS1 (20) has come home from Uni to vote (didn't get organized to do a postal vote), and has already walked the couple of miles to and from the polling station. This is his first general election so he was keen to vote. DS2 (still 17) says he wouldn't vote even if he could...things might change with him, though I doubt it, apathy rules in his case.
Right, off to see if I can get my trainers on with my silly toe...it has started weeping again...good in some ways as it eases the pressure a bit, but it means I have to have some sort of dressing on, which means I can't wear some footwear. I have new wellies and my gardening boots which I can wear, but I had hoped to get my trainiers on...we'll see.
Have a great day everyone.
PS Star Wars in Brighton sounds great...at the end of the month?? That is Bank Holiday Monday itself...it will be crowded, but at least there should be lots of entertainment about - mind you, we are good at prividing our own methinks!! :rotfl:

Good morning all, happy Election Day. Trouble is, whoever you vote for, it's always the Government that gets in....
Not a NSD today as hairdresser visiting house this pm, but have hopes for tomorrow. Will be a creature of the night tonight so half of tomorrow will be spent sleeping - no spending there, except in my dreams!
Must remember to nick my son's lightsaber for Brighton - big thing complete with green light and light saber noise, that cool or what? That reminds me :
Darth Vader : Luke, I know what you have got me for Christmas.
Luke: How do you know that, Dad?
Darth Vader : Because I felt your presence.....One life - your life - live it!0
