NSD number 3 for me today Spoon - however plans may change for tomorrow as hubbie is going out to help a mate and probably needs diesel so may not end up as an NSD
This thread certainly needs some reading these days - I'll catch up later I think :eek:Mr 3Dogs 3-7-12

Me too. I've never been, but I reckon only in Brighton could a bunch of Stormtroopers be sunning themselves on the beach, supping C3POs without any-one batting an eyelid (apart from, perhaps somewhere near Leeds as BDINI is out and about). :rotfl:butdoineedit? wrote: »HAPPY BIRTHDAY NICCATW better say it now incase the wine makes me forget tomorrow!!!!

Awww, thank you. (it's not until Saturday but I've been doing my best to drag it out all week

This isn't a straightforward one, but I want to be on the NSD straight and narrow. Today I did buy chocolate and crisps and a sandwich because I had a really horrible day at work and wanted comforting yummy food, but I did get a free loaf of bread with my newspaper that can be used for breakfasts next week instead of buying any. Can I claim number three with that?

Exactly what I was thinking, curlygirl:rotfl::rotfl:
But you do realise, thrifty fifty, that you have to sign, in blood, a promise to use the bread for your breakfasts next week and not for some other frivolous purpose:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Updating your total to 3 now - we all have to have a treat occasionally!!
:jWell done - you're doing brilliantly!

Firewalker wrote: »I am right that spending on budgeted necessary things (like transport to work) does not count as spending for the NSD. If 'yes' today was my/ours second day for May. And yesterday was a LSD - just some batteries for a toy.
Firewalker
You really make your own rules - some people would count that as a spend, most on here probably not. I reckon that, if you budget for an expense and have the money "put aside" for it, then I wouldn't count it..
I'll put you down for no 2 for yesterday, if you want to change your mind let me know and I'll change it back again.
:jWell done for no 2 - doing great!

curlygirl1971 wrote: »Meeeeeeee!!! You can do schmarvellous things with spreadsheets. You can work out your monthly budget, track spending against budget categories, monitor your account balances, forecast spending, assess the impact of mortgage Over-payments and work out any interest earned on your savings, work out your net worth............and then you can make a graph of EVERYTHINGGGGGGGGGGG!!!
Spreadsheets are good. Spreadsheets are friends.
I can still come on the night out can't I?pure_dead_dopey wrote: »Curlygirl, really you can definitely come on the night out, cos you really really need to get out more!!!!pure_dead_dopey wrote: »stick with the wine and the forum, close the spreadsheets, click all the little xs.
