What do you wash daily (clothing etc wise)

Some people on the thread say they only wash if their clothes look or smell dirty. That is what I was meaning.

I wash clothes after one wearing because they pick up body odours (even if you shower/bath daily), and smells from outside, plus dirt. Perhaps if I had to heat up a copper and use a mangle like they used to do in the old days I might not wash clothes so frequently, but it's not a great hassle filling a washing machine, putting in powder and pressing a button.

I think I'm just a bit obsessed about not smelling dirty. Years ago when I was living in London we lived in a house which had a washing machine. We put stuff in and it came out wet so we assumed it was actually washing the clothes. One day at work I was wearing what I thought was a clean skirt, only to realise I stank to high heaven! It was probably noticeable to other people long before I noticed it. I was absolutely horrified. It turned out that the drum in the wm wasn't going round so nothing was actually getting washed at all.
