Hmm, just seen another one, Ford Escort 75 van 2000 with LPG, 4 months tax, 8 months MOT and 47000 on clock and its 1400 cc with one owner (ex council)?

What value do you think please?

    i reckon £700:)

also i know i dislike french cars but take a look at berlingo/partner vans
the 1.9d engine is pretty bullet proof and within your price bracket.

Well, actually went this morning to see the Ford van which didnt reach its reserve. The chap emailed it was £1k. Said the other bidder also wanted to view it.

We went today and its very tidy in the front interior but he hadnt mentioned the front bumper cracked and broken, the couple of spots of rust was in fact virtually all one wheel arch and the door sill (albeit surface rust), dent lower front side too. Still we were interested but OH went for a drive with the chap and said the brakes worried him, they took a lot of pressure to come on. So we decided all in all to leave it. Bloke got a bit stroppy saying there was nothing wrong with them, only passed MOT 4 months before, but after all, we didnt want to come home and regret buying it did we :(

So I think back to the drawing board on something newer.
