I would as l have done as if they can give you details on phone same as me they must have them on system so irrelevant if over 6years.I think l will have a fight on my hands but l will perceive as they are using 6 years as a excuse.

Received my offer this morning in settlement of the 2 accounts HFC have upheld and there offer of a ex gratia payment is for £1508.23.

Just need to send back the acceptance now. Good timing this as we go to Benidrom on Monday for 2 weeks so should be in my bank when i return. Extra few cold beers i think.:j:beer:

Hi,

To be honest i was expecting less than this amount because although I had worked out the amounts paid plus the expected statutory interest what i had not realised was that there was also a premium i had paid on one of the loans ppi for early settlement which turned out to be £412.00 so that was a bonus.

Hi,

Just an update. Sent letter of acceptance back to HFC yesterday recorded delivery,just checked my account online and they have put the money in my account today. Can't fault them on there response time I expected them to drag it out for at least a fortnight.
Maybe they are starting to get there act together at last.
