Just got a letter confirming - no mention of having to pay any more fees etc so that's it hopefully.

just wanted to make sure- you cancelled your policy after 6 months or one month left to be 6 (i mean, 5 months plus 1 for the cancelation).

arrrrgh, i got a letter from quidco support team, saying, that i will not any cash back, because my computer has cookies  i didnt do anything wrong, and i kept paying the bills every month and here we go!
need some advice from you, guys. should i wait for 6 months, or its enough 5?

I gave my notice in exactly five months into the deal to Pru via email, received a confirmation letter within a week, all done and dusted....make sure you mention that you are giving "30 days notice" (bit obvious I know...)

thank you very much for information!

as my policy end the next month, i want to make it go smooth.
by the way, if i cancel the policy, can i use the gym while the 6 months end?
i hope that makes sense :)

Oh dear, I just realised that I'm now already in the 6th month. So, if I send them an email to cancel now, does it mean the membership is cancelled immediately (after their confirmation) or do I still have 1 more month of gym membership? Please leave some advice, I'm a bit stressed at the moment (for forgetting to cancel earlier) -_- Also, my 6th month payment is due in 4 days...
  • I've also emailed them my cancellation notice, as far as i am aware we are perfectly entitled to cancel at anytime provided we give a months notice.

    Hi,

Does anyone know if there are any deals with Virgin Active? I.e. If there is, would it be cheaper to join Virgin Active now and cancel Pru Health! Am thinking about asking at my local gym. If anyone has done so already, it would be good to know what they said.

    Thanks

    I found this: https://www.pruhealth.co.uk/uk/prudential/presales/vp_holmes.jhtml

It seems it costs £25 a month for gym membership. Is this the same deal as before? The original article isnt viewable now.

Can I ask you if this is still on? This looks like the old deal which Virgin Active no longer do.....if they do i would be interested...has anyone taken this offer up in the last month??

What is the email address to cancel? I posted them a letter by first class last week but want to send an email to double check they receive my cancellation.

I called to ask them if they received my letter and they confirmed they had. I got a letter a few days later confirming my 1 months notice period cancellation. No mention of having to pay any extra fees (I signed up in January, took the Cannons membership & also got the Quidco cashback) so all is good :)
