Tara-fab to see you sounding so positive-all that exercise has GOT to be doing something! Everything crossed for a loss for you!

Well after last week's STS, I'm delighted to report a loss of 4lbs this week! :D That takes me over my 2 stone loss, to a total of 30lbs now, and 8lbs in May. I'm really pleased with how it's going, but I still have a long way to go and am definitely still here for the long haul.

The thing I'm doing quite well this time, which I've never managed to do in the past is to allow myself a day off for a special occasion, then get straight back to it the day after. I'va laways been an 'all or nothing' type of person and in the past would just 'give up' if I'd had a day of unhealthy eating. I think it really is about being in the right mindset to do it. Speaking of 'days off', I have a meal out with work tonight, so plan to eat sensibly but without being too restrictive. It's good that it's on weigh-in day so I can get back to it tomorrow and hopefully show another loss for the final week of May! :)

Have a fab final week everyone! I'll report my final loss for May next week and see my fellow long haulers on the June thread!

Thanks CG. My legs are looking more toned already and I am so motivated to keep it up. :) Well done on your 4lb loss!!!!!!!!!! You have a very good attitude too, allowing for days off and getting back on track. That's the key to long term weight maintenance. :T

Thanks Purpleroses. I really felt guilty for being so bad, I couldn't bring myself to post here when I was like that, then I just kicked myself up the bum and the little gentle nudge of encouragement from OH was all I needed...

Well done on the 3lb loss, a loss is a loss after all!!!!!!!!! I'd be thrilled to lose 3lbs the way I'm going... :o

    Thanks Purpleroses,

Be positive though-3lbs is a loss though, not a STS or even a gain! You're still here and it sounds like you're gung ho ready for June! I look forward to your updates. :D
