Hope you're all enjoying this lovely sunny saturday! i'm stuck in the library! boo!!!

Down 4lb so far - just another 3 to go and it'll be down the 2 stone :) hoping to keep going and get the workout DVD's going - bought 5 last Sunday and the first four were delivered Friday so something to have a flick through tomorrow :)

    Well done everyone!

Had an idea earlier, going to get myself one of those money tins that you can't get into without a tin opener from the pound shop and put a pound in for every pound weightloss (soon to be £28 added somehow to it) and when I get down to my target weight (long while yet...!) it'll be a large joblot of money to get some nice - right size - clothes with :)

I weighed myself this morning and it looks like I've lost 7.25lb this week! I'm not sure how that is possible but... :D :j :D

I've walked 13.9 out of 26.2 miles for the month. :T I'm soooooooo unfit though - I went for a walk up a hill today and I really struggled. At least there was loads of wildlife spotted on my walk - including 4 zebra and several nyla (stripey antelope)! (the walk went round part of the outside fence of the zoo :rotfl: )

Well ill be weighing myself tommorrow but i think it may be a no weight loss for me this week, hoping its not a weight gain. Had a shocker of a week due to various things so have been rather lazy and done near on no exercise which is not like me at all :(

Been in work tonight an one of the customers has made me 2 whopping great big bag of choc buttons with sprinkles and plain ones so that is not gonna be easy having them in my fridge!

On a positive note...Up bright an early tommorrow and off down to the gym I go for a major cardio and leg weight session!! Then food shopping to get my veg for the week :)

That soup sounds good, do you have the recipe? Must try the Greek yogurt/lemon curd combo too :D

So sorry for not posting earlier - had an unexpected gain and have spent the last week feeling sorry for myself. :(

The soup is really easy but does make loads so it may be best to go with half quantities to check you like it. I find the wholemeal ryvita crackerbreads make good "dipping" items, and are less guilt-making than bread.

    1 can green lentils
    1 can mixed beans
    2 cans chopped tomatoes
    handful split lentils
    2 leeks
    1 onion
    2 carrots
    2 parsnips
    2 peppers
    2 stock cubes
    salt/pepper
    mixed herbs

Chop the veg and add to large saucepan with rest of ingredients, cover with water. Bring to the boil and simmer for @ 30 mins until veg soft.
You can then either blitz with a blender or leave chunky.

    Hope you enjoy.
