3/4 of a pound off for me this week. I'm pleased with that - I had a sneaky Monday weigh in to check the damage of the girly weekend away and I'd put on a pound so I've done quite well to lose that and the extra 3/4 lb since then0

well done taka! i didn't get out today again! need to invest in some waterproofs as this rain just isn't going away!
Been thinking about getting a Wii. does anyone have it? thoughts??
Hi Purpleroses
I've used Wii Fit Plus for about 30 minutes more or less every day for the past 6 months. I didn't have masses of weight to lose, just a little over a stone & Christmas in the middle didn't exactly help.Anyway, I found my weight had stalled with only 4 lbs to go until I started incorporating 20 minutes free jogging using the Wii every day. Now after a week the weight has started to drop off again. It isn't so much fun as some of the other games but you can watch TV whilst you do it & you don't get wet.
For me it's worth a boring 20 mins a day to lose the last couple of lbs.

I got mine as a very generous birthday gift from my dad. He got the wii console thingy the wii fit plus (the board and the games) and more ganes called sport resort, all for under £220. Its still an AWFUL lot though.0 -

I think we paid about £210 for ours from Sainsbury's online. DH wanted one as well so we treated ourselves to an early joint Christmas present. (He's lost 18lbs too.)
I think the fact that we've both stuck to it means that for us it's been value for money although I agree it's a big investment.0 -
yea its a lot of money. best deal i've found is £220 for wii and wii fit. decided to only get them when i've raised enough money on ebay for it. got enough for the wii so need to get selling to get the wii fit now.0

I got a stepper at a charity shop in town for a fiver. Damn heavy, must have lost a few calories carrying the thing. Twist and step or something. It tells you what calories you are burning doing it. Blimey Im knackered after stepping enough to burn ..............12 calories
I did walk to the polling station yesterday, so that was 2 miles round journey. I normally do about 1.5 miles on the second dog walk of the day (OH does the first and last with them).
Onwards and upwards guys.
Taka, as dragon has tried to get us to think about this - 1 month and 7 lbs is the goal. Work towards your first goal, which is losing up to 7lb in a month and your big goal which is getting from the morbidly obese into the obese - this you can do. So aim for a day by day success. And do expect to suddenly add pounds when you have been good - I dont know why that happens, but it does then suddenly you dump them and extra ones. So dont be disheartened by daily variations.
You cant imagine what a thrill it is to move from one of those bmi groups to the lower oneI sat here grinning when I went from obese to just overweight and another stone and Im in the OK range for my height. Blimey I shall have chips that day

Been going on the wii and walking too and from school with DS's, lost 1lb this week not bad as I felt like I have been sticking the past few weeks.0

Wow! 1 stone 3.1 pounds lost between us already (and that is assuming I picked up on everyone's posting of their weights!)
My small contribution to that was 1.2 pounds (not much in the grand scheme of things but as the tablets I have been put on have weight gain as a major side effect  I am quite happy!)
Can people who have posted their weight changes check the opening post and see that I got them all (sorry to hear about the gain Valentina2 but I am positive it is a minor blip and will turn round quickly)Do not meddle in the affairs of Dragons, for thou art crunchy and good with catsup
