I had 2 different codes on 2 emails. When I booked on Cineworld website, it was done in one transaction so I had only one email booking reference. The ticket machine at the cinema didn't work so not sure if one or two tickets would have come out. I am sure the person on the tills would be able to sort it for you. If done separately, it shouldn't matter as these days the seats are not numbered - you sit anywhere you like. Hope that helps.

I used 2 tickets on Saturday at Enfield, having booked online some 6 hours before the film time. The ticket machine wouldn't issue the tickets although I had the right credit card. So ended up queuing but the girl at the ticket desk couldn't find the details of my booking on her system. She called the manager who took my credit card details and booking reference and went away to do whatever he had to do. He emerged 10 minutes later with the tickets -phew! So the message is take your reference number even if you can't take the copy of the email and allow plenty of time just in case there are problems!

Same thing happened to me at the same cinema too. Asked the security guard who asked to see my confirmation, showed him the email via my phone, and he then asked the ticket desk to sort it out for me.
  • We had the same prob.....booked 2 tickets seperately and when we got to cinema it only printed out a credit card reciept saying 0.00! Went to box office and they told me to go and speak to supervisor.....he just looked on computer and swiped my card and told the guy who was checking tickets to let us through. The funny thing is ....my daughter was with us and I was going to buy her ticket (student) but she ended up coming in with us free!
Never buys anything at full price unless completely forced to do so!!!

I've had fraudulent transactions turn up on my card this week too, and the only thing I can think of is this offer. Sounds like there might have been a leak somewhere. :/

If its a popular film/busy time there will be a seat number on your ticket, if its quiet it usually says "GA GA" which (just guessing) means go anywhere.

I always thought it stood for "General Admission"...but either way it's the same thing :)

Thanks for that info. We have never gone at busy times so never had to worry about seat numbers. I'll have to remeber that otherwise we'll end up sitting separately!
