How tough is it Wssla ? I have bad winters. It would be handy if I could grow it but I doubt it..

It's pretty good. I got a dark one... can't remember the name but is lovely like cabbage but not so difficult to grow. I have just sewn it in trugs alongside atlas carrots (big round globe ones) should have produce until november at this rate!

cool! I got a load of stuff from simply seeds as they are pretty good value. Alan romans didn't have the carrots I wanted otherwise I would have bought from them! They are very good- especially with their special buy three packs get three packs free. Considering the price from both of those I always feel sick seeing the price in garden centers of the same seeds!

Flying visit today as im going to work(great weather we've been having)
today i noticed 4 out of 6 pots/bags of potatoes are starting to show the signs of flowers...1 of my large gangly tomato plants has some flower buds and so does my French bean plant....and my courgette plant has 3 big bright yellow flowers(one with a bumble bee buzzing around inside this morning)
my Dig in salad is flourishing,im gonna have to snip n pick...and my lettuce are getting picked daily, cos they aint too happy with the overcrowding and sogginess...but all in all everything in the garden is Rosy(well "veggie) I dont have any roses;)
hope all is well with everyone.x

    Debt-free and Proud!
    Morning All

Today is sunny and bright here in South Lanarkshire ! :) My other half has finished building my greenhouse this week, so Im off to decant all my tomatoes, peppers, cucumber and courgette plants from the house (my sunroom looks like the day of the triffids!!)

Can I ask some of you more experienced gardners.... I put some tomatoes in the greenhouse earlier in the week and it got really hot and they have some white bits - sunburn? Too hot? Have I sited my greenhouse in the wrong place or does this only happen rarely, cos they are small and it was super sunny???

    Thanks
    Jinx :)

Bits of sun off and on here but blowing a gale, so no gardening today, just doing a big washing :D

Really windy here too, but sunny so far.

I've got some front lawn to dig out today, making the bed that's there already wider and longer. My dad has chopped it all up with the lawn edger so I just need to dig up the squares. Then I'll hopefully get the rest of the bedding put in.

Hope everyone has a good weekend. :)
