He did. McDonag is a good boy.

Anyone thought anymore about an MSN messenger type forum thing for misprices, and keep discussion to here? If this espionage theory is real...

Those Spritz!up things were fixed bloody quick too.

mcdonag - see the above quote.

I am not at all bothered that there is chat going on, I would be the last to try to tell people what to do. However, I was getting the impression that a club was being created to share misprices so that (the conspiracy theory) Tesco did not see them here and act quickly.

Club members would get "first bite at the cherry" and the rest would be lucky to hear about misprices before they are gone ......

But I am happy to be proven wrong. ;)

I think someone did mention the conspiracy theory and suggest an msn. I just took on the idea and went from there really.

    No conspiracy going on.

    Wanna join us?

The simple fact is if prices are concealed by the few then everybodies r&r opportunities become reduced, the very nature of such an idea gives Tesco more opportunity to rectify before the knowledge gets out, in any event it won't be long before rumours of a Tesco spy become prevelant on such a private forum as the conspiracy theory will travel with the paranoid

  • I was offered r&r on 1 pack of lamb today when I had bought 3 I pointed out there policy on the big sign and the very nervous cs lady said "O O OK THEN" and gave me a full refund I did feel sorry for her as she had obviously been told to try and not refund it all. But hey its £17 worth of lamb chops for the bbq at the weekend ........weather permitting

ps I have added my msm if anyone ever wants a chat

Bylromarha, was this the original store? Did anyone else go get these on R&R there within this time frame?

Cos that was b***dy quick, which only adds to my espionage theory...lol

All removed from Tesco Extra Cov Arena Store.

It could be possible that at some point during the day a customer could have genuinely spotted the mistake and the store were rectifying it? Occasionally customers do pick up on mis-prices without the expertise of MSE.

    Just a thought...
  • Quite true. It could be possible.

Bought two packs of Scottish Premium beef mince today SEL 2.00, packs priced at £2.29.

CS refused to r+r on the basis that the SEL referred to Premium Scottish reared beef mince, and that the barcodes didn't match.

I argued that the SEL price was misleading, which CS agreed, and refunded me 29p on each packet. Without making it obvious that I only purchased the mince in an attempt to r+r I had to grit my teeth and say thanks.

Should I be contacting HO about this one?

    Anyone?

You were fobbed off . If ever you are not happy ask to use their phone to call head office to check the twaddle they are giving you is true - they usually back down when you do this. Try and check the bar codes match before you pick up a pack then you know it's correct.
