frequent you should have gone for it especailly if you were correct in saying the prices were wrong.
I had a mini battle today in a store over the whitney CD, saw the SEL £17.29 and the poster £7.whatever went and picked up a bag of carrots for tea and bought the stuff. CS wnt away and came back witht he SEL so I went back with her and showed her the poster this was when it got interesting she said I wasnt over charged and that the store refunds only the diference in the cases where the price that I get charged is actualy on display as well as the poster price another tesco employee backed the CS person up. I wasnt having it and was told I would need to speak to a manager about it. When we returned to CS she spoke to someone and asked for my card and refunded the CD, result and I didnt speak to a manager.
My sister was so happy she had lost the same cd a month ago so now she has another copy, I did go into asda we needed some breadone the way home and the same CD was for sale for £70 -
Well, I agree that I could have got an R&R, but really don't want to get into any grief with CS over £5.
I think they will defo rem the peeps that they have arguments with thus reducing your longevity (is that a word ?) in R&R
Could be wrong, but do think it's better to avoid confrontation over small stuff, having said that, could se me arguing over an X_BOXBack to square one, no apg, no comment.0 -
MyUserNamesTaken wrote:Constantine's remark that it wouldn't work was in reference to a post on the misprices thread which asked about going in after midnight. That's why I mentioned it. You can take it as "fact" that the system does not update immediately in order to allow the store the chance to change the SELs.
In future, I won't bother helping you in any way, as your posts are aggressive and ungrateful in tone.
I have "edited" this post because the comment I left was not true....and I apologise to MyUserNamesTaken0 -

Anyway...why are you answering a question I posed to Constantine, when Constantine has answered my question satisfactorly, wihout feeling my post was aggressive or ungrateful in tone......0 -

Hi,
I just got Lamb chops sel £9.48 pack prices £10.48 got full R&R but it took ages.
I just wanted to ask though, the department manager asked if I could let someone in the department know about this ,before I go through the tills, to allow them to make the change before i am over charged... anyone else been told this and if so what will I say next time??:o
By the way I didn't actually say I noticed the overcharged before i went to pay I said I had noticed the shelf price and had assumed the discount would come off when the item was scanned;)
My town is so small that they already know me and I suspect that they know I will be back to R&R, well fingers crossed anyway!!
any advice?
