Do I assume you are of average height, average build, average appearance. Not 6 foot 4 with flaming Red hair, or any other distinguishing features ?
I cannot believe that your details are not circulated around ALL the Tescos where your Club card or Credit card are used. You are more of a threat to Tescos profits than Asda and Sainsburys combined.

You'd think the bright red eye(s) would be a total giveaway....?
Seriously though, I am so scared about being recognised that I try to only do it every couple of weeks at one store. And even though it is a 24hour Tesco near me, I swear its the same CS lady, or a group of evil triplets0 -
Mcdonag, don't mean to sound dim, but what is Wombeling??? It has intruiged me from the first time I saw your signature.
Please explain. Ta.People die, buildings burn, but true love is for ever.
:hello:0 -
Wombleing is the collection of discarded receipts around the car park from people who don't have a clubcard, like wombles who pick up litter. You can then go to CS desk and get points added to your account. Great way of boosting points.0

Remember your a Womble?!!!
I just pick up the thrown away receipts and take them back to Customer Services and get them to add the points to my clubcard. I only bother with the big ones though.
I usually find them in the trolleys or on the floor. Some people rummage through the bins but I havn't the guts for that.
My main tesco is on a hill and all the paper gets blown to one area in the car park. Thats my favourite place for wombleing.
Some people pass scorn on this habit but I get thousands of air miles every month doing this and it saves me loadsa dosh on my hols.

Sorry, that is something I find VERY hard to believe !!
This week I picked up a receipt the previous customer had left - my first time you understand:o
For the princely sum of £1.33.I think I need more time and practise at this game !!;)
P.S Thanks for the comments re passing on the R&R policy to others.
I have told family and friends, as well as about offering all coupons to get money off. Afraid some are still rather disbelieving and although they sort of knew the policy, they cannot seem to grasp the OPPORTUNITIES it may lead to. Equally they are stuck in the "But I thought it was only if you actually bought the item.." mentality re coupons. It seems you can lead a horse to water but you cannot make it drink.
I have also passed on this sites address to LOADS of people, and when people comment on a new piece of clothing say and ask me where I got it, and how much it cost. I often say Free - From Tescos, or £2.50 (after using loads of coupons or discount codes) when they query this I keep saying "I have told you about the site, I have told you that Tescos usually accept any in date coupons, if you don't wish to take my advice, thats ok"
I even printed out a list of all the codes for one friend who regularly uses catalogues, and spends a fortune with them, AND pays for P&P. Yet she still hasn't used any of the codes.....so what do you do
Obviously some people have more money than sense as my old Mum would say.:rolleyes:0 -

Can't explain it really. It is one thing picking things up off the floor because you can kid yourself that you dropped it yourself.
Another thing entirely with your arm deep down in a bin with so many people walking passed you. What if someone I know saw me that knew me!!!

I don't know if i'm just lucky with my two local(ish) stores, but I've never yet had a problem getting an r+r. Every time the CS has paid up without so much as a murmur.
Even once when the CS desk had closed (was about 10.10pm), i just stopped the first memebr of staff I saw, and she refunded me.
Top marks to Tescos staff in my areaDebt free since December 2015. It can be done0 -

So what if they did, for many many years a lot of my immediate friends and family ridiculed me for my thrifty ways, almost all of them now realise the incredible benefits to me, I have associates on salaries three times that of my own and they can't make ends meet and yet I have quite a comfortable lifestyle compared to them, they ask me how come and when I tell them they come out with the likes of "oh I couldn't be bothered working all that out, or I couldn't do that" my reply is well I can and that's how.Four guns yet only one trigger prepare for a volley.Together we can make a difference.0 -

Information is shared regarding shoplifters etc but never customers that are doing nothing wrong.
I have been advised from a T manager, whom I know, that on the intra-net my name had been circulated as i was on a "meat and cd scam". My name had been gleaned from my clubcard or maybe my credit card details?0
