I am useless at this.... bought 3 items for a £1 or 36p each from the back to school range (rubbers, pens & sharpeners).... discount not deducted. CS wouldn't let me have them for free gave me 7p change!

Don't know how you lot do it! ;)

    TESCO AMERSHAM BUCKS
Lamb chops small and large sizes sel £9.98kg sold @ £10.98kg
Thin Beef steak sel £7.48kg sold @ £6.77kg
    Shetland Isle Salmon as B4
PLEASE HIT THIS STORE HARD as the Gorilla of a (non) compliance manager would not allow R&R as said due to so much, I must have done this 'on purpose' Only pass this store occasionallly, but has always had overcharges.
So in anger went to Slough; Duck crown sel £4.79 charged £4.99 and Shetland Isle Salmon as B4 Full R&R!
Still angry, went to Windsor: Salmon again, and Pork Crackling Roast Joint sel £2.98 charged £3.98 Full R&R.
Glad to find you all here, been doing this for over two years. Can't believe the neg comments from some who 'role over' and let these companies rip you off.

Out of date yellow sel (17/8), scans at correct price, so near yet so far :(

same goes for xbox 360 game 'Prey'

    Wellingboro store

thats because neither of these items were reduced. If the sign saying `buy xbox and game of the week save £20` was still up you`d be ok because the discount would not come off.

Here endeth the sermon and my participation.

I still expect you are reading these posts tho, spa2k ?

Glad you mentioned the "sermon" yourself - you were sounding very preachy there. Could we expect the same self righteousness if you were not a Tesco employee I wonder ?? Who else defends Tesco to this degree ??

I agree that boasting should not be encouraged. We R + Rers should only "harvest" Tesco in a sustainable manner or else we will end up with an Easter Island scenario.

However as long as the policy is there, Tesco are implicity stating that they are happy to continue. Would they prefer to be smothered by legal cases caused by over charging ? Surely that would hurt their profits even more ? And incidentally they would require less people to staff the CS desk if they managed to charge the price they advertise.

    Sorry, you are wrong.

The offer has been extended and therefore the two items together DO still have a £20 discount. (same with PS2 deal) I know because I tried it myself today. Noticed that one quick off the mark Tesco has already updated the offer SEL to state the new expiration date, think it was the 24th or 28th - didn`t write it down - sorry !

Also, the Idisgo 2Gb MP3s are now back down to £59.99 - so no chance of an R + R there anymore. That was a quick one wasn`t it ?

I bought a DS Lite and "New Super Mario Bros" today and was pleased to find a £10 discount on those two together. This was not even advertised on a SEL. This may also be worth looking out for when it expires (don`t know the date yet tho)

(See - I dont just R +R at Tesco - I could`ve bought that DS from anywhere but feel like the poor dears need some profit frome now and then too)
    Badgers badgers badgers .......
  • Then why were they yellow SEL's with expiry dates on them. theres loads of xbox games there with white SEL's why just this one yellow, theres notthing special about it

Ok folks so i went into tesco this afternoon and got 2 roast beef in foil tray charged £4.99 SEL was £3.99 .. got the R&R no probs :j .. BUT in the same shop i took 3 packs of pork loin steaks (ones i have been R&R'd on in a different store) and the CS manager went away for ages.. now the difference was the SEL said £6.48/kg and the packs were £6.49/kg.. she came back and said "ive stuck new labels on and ive found it makes no difference what the price per kg is .. only the weight." - to which i replied of course the price makes a difference..she interrupted with "its not even a penny difference so the price works out the same".. quite clearly its 1p different just like if i gave you 99p you wouldnt have £1.. she wouldnt budge and maintained her labels were correct despite the overcharge per kg. got a refund on them and they kept the pork but at the same time i still think shes very wrong... hmmmm anyone else had this trick pulled on them by CS staff? im still quite annoyed that she thinks im so stupid as to believe that it works out at the same price
    I LOVE MSE! :money:
