I've just come across Sandymouth Bay - looks lovely but too expensive. Anyone know if there are any private rentals for that one? I can't find any on static-caravan or direct holiday homes.
Thank you mrsbez - Waterside is out of my price range but I'll look at Shorefield.0 -
as your post count is one i would take the time now to post a ad about your static
where about is it ?do you rent well? hard as nails on the internet . wimp in the real world :cool:0 -
Have you looked at Exmouth in Devon, Sandy Bay? Not sure, but think there is a John Fowler static caravan park near there.0

I think Devon Cliffs is around there, but I can't find anything for under £800 there.
Has anyone stayed at Sandymouth Bay in Bude, Vauxhall Park in Yarmouth or Cherry Tree in Yarmouth? These seem more reasonable prices with fairly good reviews, but to be honest I'm terrified of spending all that money and it being awful when we get there!0 -
Yes, I think the Isle of Wight will work out too costly.
Any good parks anyone? I've found Coral Beach in Skegness but I can't find it on Tripadvisor or ReviewCentre so I'm worried it's not going to be up to much!
Hi,
We went to Coral Beach last year, It was a bit dated, but a nice park with good evening entertainment for kids.
There is a sealands club which also has a soft play, on a night characters get up a dance with the kids, and they do party dances-music man etc... my 4 year old loved it.
There is also the coral cabaret room, bingo and singers on stage-also very good.
There is a chip shop and camp shop.
It reminded me a lot of an old style holiday camp. It is very close to butlins, and fantasy island so plenty to do around the site.
We bought day tickets to butlins.
We booked a caravan through direct caravan holidays, it was very cheap, but a lovely caravan very well looked after.
You can also book direct with coral beach, and all of there caravans are new. One thing I did notice was you pay a £50.00 deposit then the balance the day you get there-never heard of this before.
We have looked at going back to Coral Beach later this year.
I can also recommend Wild Duck at Great Yarmouth, however it is not close to the beach, it is a lovely site.
My mother in law visited Cherry Tree, she loved it, but it is not close to the beach.
Hope this helps0 -
Thank you so much for your reply. You are the only person I can find in the world that has been to Coral Beach - I was beginning to think it was a made up place lol.
When you say it's a bit dated, what do you mean exactly? Is it clean? It sounds really good on its website but I know sites can sometimes be so misleading.
How near to the beach is it, and is it a nice beach?
Sorry for all the questions lol.0 -

Hiya,
Its very clean and is a well looked after site.
By dated I mean its like an old fashioned holiday camp, in the way of the evening entertainment like in the club they play bingo and the singers are very old school.
The family club is good for kids, as they put on dancing competitions and entertainment every night.
The beach is about 10 mins walk, it was april when we went so very cold but probably nice in the summer.
If you go on google street view type in the postcode PE25 1JW, have a look and you will see how near to beach and butlins etc it is...0 -
Good idea :-) thank you very much - much appreciated

Parkdean Ruda in Croyde Bay, North Devon is great-right opposite a great beach with an indoor pool and a short walk to Croyde Village-I've had two great holidays here and the caravans have recently been refurbished so are really nice. I've been to shorefield which is lovely-about 9 miles from the beach though.HSBC Visa-High interest-£2349.23 Nat West £2605.18
My Overdraft-£1500
Barclaycard-1089.77
Marks and Spencer card- 3331.30 next 92.67
Total was 11066.29 now £10,968.150 -
Thanks for the reply. Ruda is too expensive though like most places :-( I've given up now lol, can't find anything cheap enough. I'm going to see if I can get a last minute deal which is unlikely with it being school holidays but you never know.0
