    Hi all,

Well i started on our room and failed miserably to finish it.
Just got the boys to bed, OH has crawled upstairs to sleep, so i'll be joining him anytime now.

    Plans for the weekend: -
(Sat)Go to Priory tomorrow (free family fun day)
(Sun)Fix friends taps - sunday, if done early - go to car boot sale
(Mon) - go for a nice drive out to the countryside

All the above plus sort out uniforms, work clothes and my bedroom.Including redecorating DS2's room and patching up DS1's room.

    Right night all x

    Evening All,

I haven't been as productive today as hoped, so didn't get all of the list done. I will try and catch up tomorrow. My list is:

    Friday- spare room

    Level One
Vacuum the floor, even if it's just where you can see
[STRIKE]Spend at least half an hour doing something for yourself!!!!! paint your nails, make an appointment to have your hair done, a lovely soak in the bath.. whatever you feel like!! I'm having my nails done this morning as usual[/STRIKE]

    Level Two
[STRIKE]Clear away anything that isn't in it's place, clothes, toys, books etc[/STRIKE]
Dusting.. all those shelves and flat fluffy surfaces!! Don’t forget the light shade and curtain pole!!!
Strip beds, turn and vacuum mattresses!! and replace with fresh linen .. check if duvets & pillows need freshening up too!!

    Level Three
Rummage ALL the junk from one shelf and sort through it..
Wipe any sticky marks off walls and doors

    Extras
    Wash a throw
Wipe the radiators, skirtings and window & door frames!

Hope you all have a wonderful Bank Holiday weekend :)

    congratulations!
  • Just about to go for lovely shower with new oil.

Decluttered DD's monobrow for the first time with a wax strip. Poor baby. I haven't got it in me to tell her what it's like having the delicate bits under the eyebrow line threaded!

I'm good/quick at the waxing, but I knew it would hurt the first time, so I tried to put her off for about a year - she insisted and, to see her perk up so quickly afterwards when she could see the difference it made, was sad but rather sweet at the same time. Immac for the legs tomorrow.

Decided that we are off out tomorrow, I shall get my eyebrows decluttered by the bossy Iranian lady, maybe DD will get her hair done and we can look for some gold bangles in the Indian shops down there as the colour is so much warmer. I would have got a manicure, but I chopped all my nails right down yesterday in a fit of frustration with them, so it will probably be about a fortnight before they are long enough to bother with.

It could be another expensive one!
