when I've finished!! I've finally got round to be able to get my room done.. we'll have the weekend off to reshuffle a few bits of furniture.. and DD3's bed.. and I'll make a start clearing out everything next week.. I am so excited about having a decorated bedroom for the first time in 14 years.. I can't decide whether to do coffee/cream with red bits OR red/cream with coffee bits... We have a cream/red lamp that is OH's and red sheets.. and I want a coffee carpet.. and woodwork will be cream... I think.. What do you lot think?

Why would I want to put my feet up?? Once the decorating is done I'll do a crazy frenzied clean .. probably finish that a week before Squeak appears lol.

Just purchased a heap of cot bedding and a breastpump seeing as I can only find half the bits for mine.. I know they are here somewhere!! So other than the main bedding set OH has his beady eye on.. and the crib we are sorted... Then I can start on the infernal school uniform!!!

I think DS2 has sensitivity issues.. He complains it hurts when you touch him yet his stitches apparently are just sore but don't hurt.. and the lidocaine not working yet he barely flinched.. he flinched more when they were wiping his face with a tissue!!! I know this is part of the dyspraxia but I didn't realise it might be quite so pronounced.. so how do I, or he, gauge when he is in pain?

    Nest time I think...

Just thought I'd pop on and say hi. I have wi-fi access where we are with work so it is making things bearable. Sent all my work to my mum to proofread before I left so I will be able to get that back when she is done. Still slightly under 12000, there was so much noise yesterday that I couldn't concentrate. Got 13 days though so not panicking, hoping to more or less finish before I get home so I may be flying again in just over a weeks time which is good cos the house really needs it!

I'd go for coffee/cream with red bits - sounds classy! We've got neutral shades on walls (a darker shade on the back wall called 'muddy puddle' which looks really nice) and carpet, but the accent colour is blue. It was the boys' room before and we had just put blue blinds in, so I'm looking for bedding with 'duck egg' blue. I've got one set, but as it's a non-urgent purchase, the second one will have to wait. The light fitting still needs to be moved into DS2's room, as it's dark blue, but I don't know what to have instead yet.

Don't know what happened last night - apart from feeling miserable because of the car I was all set for a productive evening. Tried to solve DS2's Rubik's cube with internet assistance and failed, then felt really rough all of a sudden. Was in bed by 10pm (asleep, not reading), which is unheard of, after a completely wasted evening. :( Busy day today - a walk up into village for milk, break etc (must take rucksack to make it easier to carry - and must make list first), then catch train into town with DS2, flying and gardening. Right, breakfast first, then get washed and dressed. Without the car we need to do the outings first, even though I much prefer to start with flying.

See you all later. Hope everyone has a great weekend and anyone poorly feels better.

Hi longtermlurker and welcome to the thread, I have added a tree so Toots spots you and sends a welcome message.

Not the most restful night ever - DH woke me up shouting about cauliflower cheese, makes a change from him shouting about work I suppose :rotfl:.

Plan for today is to try and catch up with the house a bit, be bored in BnQ so that DH can get on with the bathroom next week :T, and to get some more weeding done. Lots of rain overnight but it is clear skies now - perfect.

Jinky - hope you feel ok this morning and that it helped.

    I STILL havent hoovered
