Just a quick update - have been shopping in our little town/village for milk and bread with DS2. Met MIL and her Ex DH (complicated story), who offered help with transport if we need it. Told him I'd get back to him if we're stuck, as I don't want to put people out. The only thing I will need is a few large bags of compost, but NN or friend down the road will probably help with that.
Just getting a shopping list ready and sorting my bag, then we're catching the train into town. The weather is still nice here, but quite chilly, so I'm hoping to get some gardening done this afternoon.
Holly - thanks for the pm. Will make a list of books I can bear to part with tonight, but I fear it won't take me long.Books seem to find their way into the house with ease, but can't quite make it out again.

Morning Toots my lovely. Thanks for belated bday wishes for DD2. We are nearly ready for the baby, we seem to have more clothes than Mothercare! More nappies than you can wag a stick at as I keep buying them when they are on offer, gots new born and next size up. Pots and pots of nappy cream as got them on offer at Boots, should of been £20, got them for a fiver! Baby wipes galore - again on offer. Her dad has bought her a 3-1 pram/carry cot/car seat jobby, got a moses basket off her dad's uncle that they used rarely for their grandchild. All other essentials such as changing mat etc my mum and sister have covered. We need to get a baby bouncer thingy and that's it for the 'big' stuff. All I need to get her now are MEGA large sanitary towels (oh the joys!), breast pads and disposable knickers or large dark cotton knickers that we can just bin if needs be. Sounds like a plan to be up for when carer arrives, but don't kn£cker yourself either!
Done 2 hours gardening whilst DH is studying. Can hardly move my chrome elbow now as it hurts like !!!! and my back is giving me jip. Why don't I do it in small lots?!
Washing not far off dry, better not rain now! You'll hear me and Kawz together as we make a made dash to bring it in!
DD1 still ligged in bed, the lazy mare!
May go out for lunch if I can make myself half presentable.

Carlsberg.. you don't need to get huge pads.. they do slim ones nowadays.. they have them everywhere.. tesco, mothercare, boots etc.. I've got 2 packs of the chunky ones for the first day or after waters have broken and thin ones for after that!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0

Xmas I think the vacuuming from the bottom of the stairs up could also be a H&S thing in so much as it can't fall on top of you if you hoover from the bottom, speaking as one who did get hit on the bonce by a hoovertoottifrootti wrote: »AnW'sMum remember the lottery today - this could be your week and then you can tell LBB what to do - nicely of course!!! have a good day - might speak this avo???
