Valli - I suppose theoretically it would. I have sort of conker coloured hair, rather than pure red like DD1, but it could never be called plain brown, plus green eyes and freckles, and I had some form of reaction to a general when I had my tonsils out 6 years ago. Apparently it took 4 hours to get me back! And my first epidural didn't take properly, the second I got all lightheaded and woozy, ending up staying the night.

Mum to 5 sounds like a horsefly bite to me. They really hurt. Keep bunging on antihistamine/waspeze/lavender oil without fail, then they aren't so darn itchy once the actual pain goes.

Returned next door's cat another 3 times. They have booked him in for the snip in a couple of weeks' time. Nice to see someone following a nice reccommendation and not taking it the wrong way. Maybe he'll become more of a homeboy then.

Piggers a lot of Romany in Ireland. And my grandfather was possibly from a Romany family - he worked with horses as a lad from around 1910. That's something I hadn't considered before!

Just 'bottomed out' the bathroom and kitchen and feel absolutely cream crackered now.Thats about as much as I can manage today will attempt the sitting room tomorrow although its had a good vacuum through this morning .As I can't stand on chairs or reach very high ( slightly disabled and also can't move my arms too well) its really a case of if its above my head or below my knees then one of my DDs do it for me .Still managed today, but will probably suffer for it later.Sun shows up all the bits I can't get to though

Glad the scan is done Lady-L, hope the bleurgh wears off, makes me feel horrid too:(, positive vibes for the results.

Hugs to CarlsbergGran, hope things are calmer around your way for a while, 7 weeks at least.

thought it was some sort of Flylady heaven and was thinking on Mansion and beeswax but apparently not...:rotfl:

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Sorry to disappoint, but a good business idea, complete with pick and mix pegs and drums of vinegar and epsom salts so you could bring your own bottle for refilling :D. With a little tea shop serving OS recipes and BIG cups of tea and coffee and fizzy stuff for Toots.

Also, I think that Toots was trying to find an :money:supply of Creamola/Kramola without hefty P&P charges. Will try our Mr T's too because they have an enormous [STRIKE]Polish[/STRIKE]continental foods section:D, but I hate our pokey little store so usually get online, so don't go in often.

I have managed to work most of the day and feed the WM/TD/DW and do a little tidying/filing/shredding as I went along. Off to school now...

I have just decluttered loads of hair - from the kids. Took them to the hairdresser - she was on her own (no washer/sweeper -I have been going to her since I was at school) so I offered to was DS's hair while she trimmed DDs. Cue much amusement at my ineptness with the backwash sink and the correct garments/protectors and a (jokingly said) telling off for me when I was 'abrupt' with her customer :rotfl:

    hi all

Just finishing some work off at home as only tomorrow before over 2 weeks of hols and I have inordinate amounts of work to do...including filing/dealing with the almost 400 emails in my inbox (I hate having more than 20!!)

I now have a rather difficult one to write so better stop procrastinating...
