    Evening, we're home:j

She is still a bit rubbish but definitely on the mend. They wanted to keep her another night 'for monitoring' but i said no:o
Loads of medical students had a nosy at her too as she is a really good teaching case, they were all so nervous as they were only 1st year and she is really complicated!

I'm so pleased to be home, thank you everyone for your kind words:A

Hugs Lady Liberty, glad you got your scan done.
Hope DS head is on the mend piggers.

Hi Carlsberggal, nice to see you:wave:

G&B good news that LO is home. Imho, it's easier to convalesce in your own familiar surroundings, so hopefully she'll feel a lot better very soon *crosses fingers that this is so*.

I've had to go some to get done today, but I'm home free to do whatever Mr LW has planned for tomorrow (AFTER we visit the Italian market ;)) without the
dreaded cleaning getting in the way.

Thursday - Bathroom and Study/Pc Area
    Level One
Clean floors in these rooms Done (Mr LW)
Air the room.. fling open the windows and let in the springy air!! I don't care if it is 13' below and snowing!!! lol Done
    Level Two
Clean baths/shower, toilets, don't forget under the rim! and sinks Done
Clear any clutter from desk Done (OK, I had one Mensa magazine to file away!!)
Dust PC and desk and wipe off those cup rings!! Done already, on Lounge day.
Wipe keyboard, house phone, sockets, switches and mouse etc Done already, on Lounge day.
    Level Three
Wash your bathroom mats, nets, clean blind/curtains etc whatever needs cleaning. Mats OK; no blinds or curtains in bathroom
Wipe down tiles in bathroom.. and delete 10 dead/unused links from your favourites! Tiles done; no unused links to delete (not saved any since the last clear-out)
Clean shower screen/curtain if you have one/if required Done
Collect any stray laundry from upstairs. All in wash-bin already
    Extras

    • Wipe the paintwork in these rooms Done all I can get to
    • Clean the radiators in these rooms Done as best I can
    • Wash the windows in these rooms.. and shine the mirrors Done
    • HHI... a bit more gone! None to do; HHWii instead
    • Do any toothbrushes/sponges etc need replacing? No, they're fine.

Friday- those frightening kids rooms and spare rooms
    Level One
Vacuum the floor, even if it's just where you can see Done (Mr LW)
Spend at least half an hour doing something for yourself!!!!! paint your nails, make an appointment to have your hair done, a lovely soak in the bath.. whatever you feel like!! I'm having my nails done this morning as usual We're visiting the Italian market in Central Milton Keynes Friday, as Mr LW has a day's leave. (hence “main” amount of Flying being done Thursday)
    Level Two
Clear away anything that isn't in it's place, clothes, toys, books etc All done
Dusting.. all those shelves and flat fluffy surfaces!! Don’t forget the light shade and curtain pole!!! Done
Strip beds, turn and vacuum mattresses!! and replace with fresh linen .. check if duvets & pillows need freshening up too!! N/A – no spare bed
    Level Three
Rummage ALL the junk from one shelf and sort through it.. Shelves ALL fine; books all in alphabetical order or in sets, as appropriate; D&D figures all tidy.
Sort through a toybox chuck out all the things they don't need any more.. charity or freecycle or whatever. None left to do
Wipe any sticky marks off walls and doors Done
    Extras
    • Wash a set of curtains, nets, duvet or throw N/A – there are none that require it.
    • Wipe the radiators, skirtings and window & door frames! Done all I can get to
    • End of week fling!! grab a binbag and fill it with stuff to leave the house.. rubbish or charity shop or to donate to a friend! Nothing left to fling!
    • half an hour in the garden clearing the mess and making it nice for spring to arrive.. the sooner your garden is nice the sooner it arrives! Honest! Will do at weekend, weather permitting. (I don't do this alone in case I take a fall outside). In fairness, we did both do 2 hours out there last Saturday.
And Mr LW has just phoned to say he's on his way home, so I'd better get my tail into the kitchen and get started on tonight's dins..... mushroom risotto.

Try vinegar and a microfibre cloth.

I agree. If there's a lot of limescale deposit, you might want something like Astonish limescale remover first off, but after that, good ol' vinegar should do it. Works for me, any way.:o

    Back to stirring risotto now.....;)
