Pigpen hope the stitches aren't too tight.
Sexy it's so fustrating when you get things cancelled at the last minute.
Carlesburgal I think you are so brave (not to mention your DS). I'd be a nervous wreck if any of my DS's were on the front line. A new baby is always a blessing:).
Diva Hope the sickness subsides.
Lady L Glad you are safely home. Get lots of rest please.
G&B - Hope LO is improving.
I was bitten on the ankle by something when I walked DD2 to nursery at lunchtime. It hurt immediately and was very swollen by the time I hobbled back. I've rubbed antihistamine cream on it and taken it orally and ibruprofen for the pain and swelling but I'm still sitting here with my foot up and a packet of frozen peas on it. Friends are collecting LO's from school/nursery. Not only am I a headcase but now I'm a physical liability too.
DS2's Parents evening last night was a success. Sports teacher said that if all 25 in the class were like him then he'd be the happiest teacher in England. Academically he's doing slightly better than I hoped so I feel very happy with him.
Lists are looking pretty good even if I say so myself:D

IHi :j
grateful - I wouldn't be seen for dust if a rat came in my classroom. I once had a slow (sp?) worm visit in the middle of a parents' evening that caused chaos - I think I broke a land speed record (of course I was looking for the caretaker ).
Notso have reported it FWIW
