you mean from M$? on those controllers you need to dremel out the buttons and then fit the leds inside
its very intricate work fitting the leds but keeping the spring in the buttons
TBH they werent worth the hassle as you couldnt charge enough to cover the time involved
the crystal ones with leds in the body are much easier once you work out routing and placements, they also had leds that lit when the rumble was activated
this could be the most off topic thread ever0 -

Haha! I think it is a little off topic but it's a nice change!
Oh I see! did you have to make the clear plastic shells yourself? I never had an old Xbox, but I could see people still wanting their newer Xbox's modified!0 -
nah you could buy official crystal controllers
god i knew most stuff about the xboxs then
the limited editions and what countries they were out in
like i say it was a good earner for me in those days, i made what i called an uplighter for around the xbox symbol on the case (you can see it in the blue xbox pic) which was totally hidden when installed
only one other guy in the states did something similar but we took different design paths.
so that was a regular seller for me
same with the ones on the front of the cases.
it was one of those things where i could sell parts, whole xboxs or people would send me their xboxs to mod
i also bought broken or mods gone wrong xboxs and either fixed them or parted them out
the xmas when there were no xbox's in the shops was a good time for me0 -

I didn't realise there was a PS3 there! You would need an entire table for that!
You could probably still make a big sale with this sort of thing! Especially if you branch out into other consoles!0 -
