yeah but i was pre 360,original xboxes
when eBay starting clamping down due to copy games etc it got a pain and i never bothered to move onto the 360
though it was a good earner on the xbox 1 for me
maybe for the next machine out ;)
  • Did you just buy a load, then mod them yourself and sell them on at a profit?

started doing it on my own machine for fun, then friends and it built from there
then did it full time for nearly 2 years
TBH the eBay hassle and lack of human contact from a 'normal' job did my head in by the end

    edit: found some pics

No, but it is wrong to call them "pretty lights" :p

There are some truly incredible case modifications out there if you have a look on Google for them.

I've been tempted to have a go myself, but I'd probably just end up with a non-working console with some broken lights in it, and loads of shards of perspex scattered around the house (as evidenced by the fact my DS is now knackered after a failed re-shelling attempt...2 broken wires and a non-working top screen :o).

Sorry for hi-jacking your thread, by the way.

Haha! That's ok! I don't think there is much else that can be done at this point!

I wouldn't trust myself with any form of modifications! I do like some of the PC cases, but then you sort of need a PC quick enough to justify such an amazing case!

I saw some places that mod your aluminum Macbook... As tempted as I was to have it matt black with a blue Apple logo light, I wouldn't be happy if it went wrong!

In an ideal world, I'd do something like this to my 360:

In the real world, it'll just sit on its table with its silver faceplate, slowly gathering dust on the top :rotfl:

  • That's crazy! Although you wouldn't be able to tell if you got the '3 red lights' since it only seems to have 1 red light!
