Ohhhh!!!
Wat should I do now???

Am defenitely gona cry now!!!0 -
This is the reason I don't bother with phone insurance. I had insurance with Vodafone and one day I read the small print. I couldn't see how I could ever claim. It didn't cover loss from a public place which means the only place it was covered was my own house! You also couldn't claim if you didn't "take care" of the phone. If you took care of the phone it would never get lost or stolen would it? So I cancelled. That's £6 a month for 10 years saved so now I just insure myself ... and I only charge myself £5 a month.
If you read the terms and conditions the only way you can claim is if you have it stolen at gun point. With witnesses.0 -
Anyway am gona call them 2mrw. But am afraid if I claim any disputes they would make a remark in the credit history which might affect on the future..0

not quite,i lost my phone while walking
couldnt say where but assumed it fell from my pocket
replaced without quibble
a few damaged handsets have been replaced too0 -
Well, we called them today and they r so stubborn that they will approve the claim only if the phone is lost in HOME AND NOT IN PUBLIC PLACE!!!!
So its no use talking to them and we removed the insurance.
Now guyz, is there any chance to change to another network while in contract with orange??
If so can anyone refer a better network?0 -
If it was in your jacket and someone took your jacket, the phone would have been stolen, not lost.Tank fly boss walk jam nitty gritty...0

Whatever.. Lost/Theft held in a public place cant be claimed!!
Thats wat they say0 -
Just wanted to say to Bagzy that I am glad you have cancelled your mobile phone insurance. In my opinion they are a total waste of money. Generally speaking people have an old phone or know someone that has so if your phone is lost/stolen/broken all you need to do is request a new sim and use your old phone until the contract is up and then upgrade as normal. Ooo look a money saving tip :-)YNWA

lol same could be said for many things
however whats the point of having a contract phone if you arent bothered about a handset?
just take a sim only option, why bother with an upgrade?
to replace a handset like for like will be £00's for a new phone
so at £10 a month its £120 a year(i pay about £6) and got £150 cashback on my contract so can write of my cover on that easily0
