Chillied Cat for dinner then, or not.0

Invest in some Roar - lion poo pellets - stops the cats going on areas you don't want them to.
Thanks to MSE, I am mortgage free!

I can totally sympathise - although in my case it was my 2yo rather than the cat. DS decided that he would water the chilli's that were in pots in the conservatory with a watering can approximately the same size as he is - resulting in carnage, soil everywhere, and no sign of the seedlings.
I was at work, so DH took it upon himself to tidy it all up - but I've no idea whether the chillis will be hardy enough to start sprouting in my Dyson, or in the garden where he flung the rest of the compost!!!
When DH rescued DS, he said he couldn't get angry with him, as the look of guilt and the fact that he was desperately trying to tidy up with a little brush from his set nearly melted his heart.... can't say that I would have been quite so calm!

I have just been googling to find out more about tomatoes as we were given a couple of plants and bought some seeds last week (wish me luck, I'm a total newbie to gardening).
Anyway, I found this site which is briliant as it sell loads of unusual tomato seeds as well as different chilli seeds etc.
They only charge £1 min postage and you can pay by Paypal which is a bonus.
Has anyone bought anything from these people before?
Has anyone grown the yellow tomatoes Blondkopfchen type?

Which type did you buy Kingmonkey and have they germinated ok?0 -
Hi, I have germinated some chilli and pepper seeds, when can I repot them? They are about 2 inches high with 2 little leaves.
Thanks x0 -
Hi Lily-ella,
you don't say what they are in just now, but supposing you sowed them in small cells or a tray I would say you could re-pot them now to maybe a 3" pot and allow them to establish themselves before transplanting to their final larger pot. That's what I always do with mine and never had any problems.
Cheers

Thanks, I've saved this site for next year.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0
