we have almost no food in the house. No bread, marg, fruit, pasta, crisps etc.

We also have nothing in the house, nothing for breakfast, lunch or dinner  had enough cereal for the kids and luckily I am taking them to my mums where we will have lunch, poor OH will have to make do with whatever random concoction he can find in the cupboard :rotfl:

Very very warm to the point of unbareable. What's the temp up there?

I forgot to say on the subject of parrots.....a guy at work came in with bags and I MEAN BAGS of cherries, all picked off his tree. I reckon with the current astronomical price of cherries they would have cost upwards of £100 in Tesco. He said he only had a small tree but the fruit was in abundance on it. Said he had a couple of fake plastic parrotts that he attached to it and the birds go nowhere near it to eat the cherries :rotfl:

  • Its actually a cockatiel that Mrs BHB gave a new home to. I call it a parrot cause I can't remember the word cockatiel :o

We used to have a lovely one (again that we rehomed) which was quiet, good natured and talked back nicely when talked to by us.

We were told the new one was quiet , and just made the odd fire engine noise if one happened to be heard in the distance......needless to say aftfer two days it started screeching when the cockerels in the barn started and didn't stop until dark. It hasn't stopped since. Then the budgie starts (Sorry Budget babe :D;)) .... between the two of them i would quite happily bring the shot gun into the house and .....:eek::eek:

Anyway - needless to say I am not a 'bird' person, unless its plucked drawn and sitting bum up on a plate surrounded by roast potatoes. :D

    xx

Aah - thanks - now I get it. That must drive you demented

    I'll join you DB

Having a bit of a disasterous day where the bathroom door has come off in my hand and the washing line has snapped - hey ho, better break a match before something else happens

In fact better see what the dog is up to in the garden as he is in a mischevious frame of mind too this weekend!
