Morning!
Hi Angie and well done on your continuing AFness!
I got up at 5.30am wide awake and put the washing on and made a cuppa, then thought I'll go back to bed for a little bit went back to bed and dozed for a couple of hours - I am in the habit of waking up early these days and I like it! I thought to myself this must be part of my AFness which is a good part. The other thing I've started to notice at long last is my skin is looking clearer and the lines have lessened a little too which I am attributing to my AFness too.
Have a great day everyone - cleaning, ironing and gardening for me today and then watching the final tonightfinal unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
Morning all....hope the weather improves here as I am doing the Race for Life this morning with my friend and my twin girlies...I just hope we don't get a couple of minutes in and the girls start with the 'carry me mummy' stuff  we are only walking it as my friend broke her ankle last year so has a metal ankle!!
SSA well done on over a year af :T nice when people pop back to let us know that things are still going well...I am getting to the point where I am considering being permanently af...I am finding it much easier to not drink now...had 2 cans of beer last night and to be honest felt like I could have done without it..
Budgie I remember your traumatic Scotland trip  am not surprised you won't be going that way again any time soon!
NRA good luck with cutting back, getting the first day out of the way is always the hardest for me...
Miss P Hope your Nan enjoys her 'High Tea' today and her leg has improved x
Enjoy your bike ride YM hope you don't have too much of a sore 'seat' afterwards :rotfl:

9 AFDs for me, please, Sparkles, ta.
Better go, my trapped nerve in back is getting slightly better, so I'm able to go back to gym doing gentle exercise (well I've paid my annual membership so don't like not to be able to use it).
DD1 going off on her interrailing trip tomorrow  I won't see her until 8 August
I hope everybody has a lovely Sunday. A big HELLO to all my friends.

Morning all,
SSA -really glad to hear you are doing so well. Also that you find you are not tempted now. That's inspirational.
Would anyone like to join me in a Monday to Thursday challenge starting midnight tonight? I'd really like to do it and some company would help
Feeling a bit worn out this Sunday morning. Feels weird going to bed before DSs come home at weekends and then waking up thinking are they back yet and checking and sometimes yes, sometimes no. Due in at 2:30 and coming back at 5:30! etc. I look forward to the working week when things are a bit more normal!
Hope everyone has a good day.

What's with the parrot? Do tell. I wont sleep tonight!
We used to have a lovely one (again that we rehomed) which was quiet, good natured and talked back nicely when talked to by us.
We were told the new one was quiet , and just made the odd fire engine noise if one happened to be heard in the distance......needless to say aftfer two days it started screeching when the cockerels in the barn started and didn't stop until dark. It hasn't stopped since. Then the budgie starts (Sorry Budget babe) .... between the two of them i would quite happily bring the shot gun into the house and .....:eek::eek:
Anyway - needless to say I am not a 'bird' person, unless its plucked drawn and sitting bum up on a plate surrounded by roast potatoes.

I am having an AF day today so that is 2 AF days for me please.
I'm so hungry and we have almost no food in the house. No bread, marg, fruit, pasta, crisps etc.
Don't know what I'm going to have for breakfast. It will be probably be a weird concoction.:p
Hope everyone is okay.:AHOUSE MOVE FUND £16,000/ £19,000

Just popping in....bad penny & all that . (So Sad Angel is taking a rest - got fed up of being a troll target)
Hi to everyone that remembers me:wave:
Still AF....nearly a year soon & I can`t believe it really. I`m at that stage where I don`t even think of those days where I would rush home to open the bottle or get panicky if I had no wine in the house.
Best of all I can walk around the supermarket & am oblivious to the wine offers that are stategically placed anywhere except on the wine aisle to catch you out....that was one of my biggest tempations!
Still addicted to my ice cold Roses lime cordial & sparkling water though:o:o & can`t walk past the mixer aisle without filling the trolley....
Be strong everyone & hope you are enjoying the hot weather.

Great stuff Angielovely to hear from you and hearing about how well things are going.
It's been a bit difficult to keep up on here for one thing and another - sorry chaps - will try harder.
DB I'll join you for your AF - Mon-Thurs - I've alot to do at work and glad of the company also.
We've friends coming to stay (unexpectedly) for a week from tonight - I told them on the phone if they wanted wine/beer to bring their own as I don't have any in the house - they aren't big drinkers anyway - but she did seem a bit shocked that I'd pretty much 'stopped' or really reduced my drinking. Then she said - that it was probably good as her hubby is also away alot and she finds she can have more than she'd normally have because she's alone. Will see how the week pans out.
Thanks for all the lovely hello's and the wise words GC - I sometimes manage to read and catch up.
Morning all :j - lots to do today and the weather is a bit mixed. Not AF last night - bless him OH brought home a peedie wine bottle thing (the kind with a 'large' glass of wine in them) and said he knew I didn't want a normal bottle at home, but thought I might like a small one.
Whats everyone upto today - are you English folks on school holidays yet? Ours have been off since 25th June..............Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.
Total debt as of 28/4/19 £7867.38:eek:
minus 112.06 = £7755.32:money:
