Budgie, did you ever get that treadmill sorted or did you say never again after the debarcle of the damaged ones you were sent? I remember once moaning to a friend about putting on weight before a holiday and saying I needed to diet etc. and she just said 'go buy some bigger clothes' so I did and felt much slimmer immediately :D hope all is well with you and Mr Budgie x

    Welcome back gien

Thanks sweetheart and as for the treadmill, Budgie dared not order another one. Poor Mr Budgie was pained whenever I mentioned the T word. ;) and yes welcome back to Gien and Mari :T Hugs 69Chick and take care. (()) xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Budgie, where are you going with Shearings? My friend wants me to join her on a Highlands and Islands type tour but I'm not sure I can cope with it.
Welcome back gien I, too, find that posting on here keeps me on the straight and narrow. Plus they're such lovely people:A

Hi Maman, I am off to Torquay, I could have gone to Scotland but after the events of last year. I thought it best to give it a miss. I am still traumatised  Hugs sweetheart and take care. (()) xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Me too Miss P hugs to you, our adorable piglet and your lovely family. (()) xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Oh and YM well done on the budgeting front, but I do know what you mean, it does hurt when you have to spend so much money on repairs. Hugs (()) xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

So it is a very tired Budgie today :( I really DID NOT WANT TO GET UP THIS MORNING WHEN MY ALARM WENT OFF. Needless to say, I did, because I am always a very conscientous Budgie :)

Piglet been a bit of a horror today, culminating in him throwing a shoe (not deliberately at me but thats where it ended up!) and it hit me in the face. I lost my rag completely. OH has just taken him and other kids out for an hour to get out of my hair.....so now I'm sat here seriously contemplating a drink!!:(:( Think things are finally getting to me....

Miss P hugs and it sounds like you have been having a very stressful day :( On the alcohol front Budgie has not been doing very fantastic :( I do plan to have some wine later. Not had any yet but feel I need to chill out in front of the tv. Hugs sweetheart and take care (()) xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Btw has anyone heard from Honey Bear?

I have pm'd her but she has not been online since the other day? I know some of you are on facebook, can I ask is she, and have you heard from her?

I see the posts from the other day have been removed, I just hope she is ok?

If anyone does speak to her then please let her know we are all thinking of her, she has posted before about loneliness, I would hate to think that she was feeling even more alone :(

It is a worry is it not?

Hope everyone else is ok too? I am going to rustle up some dinner in a jiffy. Trying to use up what I have before my holiday. Hmmm that could me some interesting concoctions (sp). Might slope off to oldstyle, they can do wonders with a few bits :rotfl:

Oh and 40sm, Cazza, GG, FH, Dc, SSA as well as others have been missing too. Hope they are ok as well?

Do you know I am glad I only post on this forum, if I had anymore to do, well I would be grey :)

Budgie says bye, oh and waves to Fay too :A

    Hi 115k,

Yes I am sure she does, I was hoping someone would have her as a facebook friend or something?

Anyway hunny you take care of yourself and you must post a pic when you get your tatoo. I am far to squeamish I am afraid :o to have one myself.

I nearly fainted when I had my ears pierced, still it was 30years ago :rotfl:

Big hugs matey and look after yourself.

Good Evening Ladies and Gents :)

Hope you are all enjoying a relaxing weekend.

I had a lovely, quiet night in with my Girlfriend last night, and watched The Notebook - blimey, the film had me in tears! *Ahem..thrusts chest out, and shoulders back in a manly fashion*

Lie in today, until about 12.30.

Eventually, got to Tescos, for a few basics.

(There was a time (a month or two back), when I wouldn't have managed to go into a Supermarket, sober..too many people.. so this was quite an achievement!)

Came back to mine, and played Mario Kart with Girlfriend :)

I need to get my housework done now, around my flat, as I've been procrastinating all evening..

Girlfriend has gone out with her mates, for a girls night out.

My block is still lovely and quiet, as the noisy neighbour is on her hols.. Heaven!

Still sober here, and my head feels clear.

I felt a bit overwhelmed by my lack of money today / debt situation / not particularly wanting to go to Tescos / not having my own car/ not being able to drive my Girlfriend somewhere, and be 'the bloke', and pay for stuff for her / pay her back all the money she lent me / having to catch up with my housework / not having a job / needing to get a new job pronto.. Not much really ;-)

Then I took a deep breath, popped a beta - blocker (prescribed, not off the black market), and went off to Tescos with my Girlfriend. Ended up quite enjoying it, looking at gadgets I couldn't afford!

It's a funy old feeling, being back in the land of the living - normality, again, but I'm rather liking it :)

Am proud to say, that I've now been sober 1 month, and two days.

Hello chaps off to catch up

Sorry popped on a couple days ago and was a bit shocked by the reading!

Anyhows I'm kicking about and must try and catch up

AF days for a few days this week, nothing horrendous aside that - I'm tidying up at the moment - hence looking for distractions

Childrens are en france - so I can happily sort out some moving bits without them interfering!!

Waves at budgie :) and all about xxxx
