After events the other day I put TP1 on my ignore list (first & only time since joining) as I was upset by the PM I received.
I therefore don't know the nature of the posts from today, bar those that I have seen quoted and they don't seem too pleasant.
I can't stay in this environment so it's been a pleasure, kids, but I'm off.
I'll see how things go & maybe see you around
Dear Honey Bear, I really hope you don't leave this thread. I really do.
I know all of this has been unpleasant and I have deliberately refrained from mentioning Tpi. It is sad that she has such anger and resentment.
But please don't give up on this thread, you have contributed so much on here and you have been a rock to many of us.
Sometimes even though we can try to help people, that in itself is not enough.
Budgie believes that if we do things with good intentions, then we can do no more.
Its time to move on now and believe me when I say this, but this af waggon is going nowhere until you jump back on
Sweetheart don't let one single person persuade you to leave, because you have the rest of us to persuade you to stay :A
God Bless

Good Evening Ladies and Gents.
Hope you all had a good day.
Had a difficult conversation with the girl from the CAB at lunchtime.. I'd diplomatically told her that the Insolvency Service, had confirmed that she'd given me incorrect info. This didn't go down too well!
Then had her supervisor, call me back, again giving me incorrect info. After reiterating, what the IS had told me, the CAB supervisor offered to email the IS, and get back to me.
I asked her to pass on my apologies, and best wishes to the CAB rep, as things had got heated :-/
Then, I checked whether or not I was allowed to go with a different DRO intermediary - The CAB supervisor confirmed I was, so I'm now going to go through the DRO, with the CCCS.
As nice and well meant, as the people at the CAB are, they've not been too helpful or knowledgable.
My local one, seem to be misinformed, and have given me contradictory info.
Ah well!
Am still a bit p'd off at the Work Focused Interview girls' comments yesterday, making out I am "not ready to go back to work, for at least a year" and that I'm "physically better, but mentally, still a little bit hazy" - it made me mad as hell!
Marru, I loved your Viktor E. Frankl quotes -
"Between stimulus and response there is a space. In that space is our power to choose our response. In our response lies our growth and our freedom."
Thanks for this, I love it. I just wish I'd been more assertive, in my response at the time, yesterday, rather than just feeling shocked, and vaguely muttering "I think I'm ok. I'll get there" :-/
Anyhow, I'm still going to chase up the taxi driving job. Having called them up, yesterday a second time, the boss was meant to call me back today, but hasn't. This is, if they've remembered to pass on the message though..
Will give him another call tomorrow.
Had an Eastenders - fest just now.
Used to watch it a lot, but hardly ever bother these days.
Quite the double bill tonight though!
Am home alone, and quite enjoying the peace and quiet, due to my noisy neighbour (she likes to play P!nk, quite loudly, on a daily basis) having gone on holiday yesterday
Hope you're all having a peaceful one too.
Cheers,
Sim x0 -

Hi 115K
I'm sending my bestist hug. hope this afternoon/evening gets better for you
P
Thanks.:) I had a few shaky moments earlier. I got my shoes on to go to the offie, then took them off again. I went to the kitchen where I had half a bottle of wine in the fridge. I poured myself a glass and then poured it down the sink so I did manage an AF day luckily.:j
I ate far too much for dinner, pizza and 2 garlic baguettes. _pale_
I tried on a few dresses earlier and I can't fit into them at all. No surprise as to why.:obudget_babe wrote: »Lots of hugs to you all and 115k nice to see you posting again sweetheart,
Thanks.:A Probably not the best day for reading my posts while I was getting into a row with someone.:D
