Well done Miss P - it's a brave thing to admit that alcohol is creeping up. :T

I tried often to give up drinking - it was only when I did something radcially different in my approach that it actually worked. Sounds like you want it for you, not for other people. That gives you the best chance

Thanks GC. You know your support and advice always mean a lot to me.

  • Hi
Not posted in ages because haven't been able to access a computer (it's not really allowed at work even in our breaks :(). However, I may be getting one from a friend who is replacing hers and if I can get free internet from Sky I'll be well away and actually be able to keep up with what you are all posting!
    I'm now on 8 please Miss P.
Miss P I did see your post; that's very brave good luck.

Miss Piggy - I have full confidence in you!!! Well done on making the decision. In time it will get easier and easier.

Got sent home from work as I still haven't managed to get rid of this head ache and today I have been dizzy as well. And now my neighbour has this most awful clubbing music on when I would just like to have a nap. I don't want to complain to her as she is always so helpful with everything.

Definitely will be AF day no 17 as can't even imagine drinking anything stronger than decaf tea.

Just finishing work so thought I would pop on..

Miss P - You sound very much like me with your drinking habits, I too made that decision a couple of weeks ago, but have had those beers I mentioned before....They way I want it to be is that I don't drink as a habit at all, but maybe if I am going out somewhere (like to the quiz night at the pub that I do sometimes) I will have a couple of lagers...I know that when I am not drinking regularly the odd night I do I can't manage a lot anyways.....Good luck on your quest :) by the way, am thinking of getting 'living sober' let me know what you think of it x

TP1 I am worried about you today, are you drinking right now? if so it would explain those feelings, maybe read back over some of your previous posts when you have felt fab for staying sober and also when you did drink how you said that if you did drink again you would't beat yourself up about it, just take it for what it is. an off day and start again as soon as you can xxx anyway please keep posting xx :grouphug:

    :bdaycake:Happy Birthday NRA x
