Cool :) I hope life is fine with you guys :) not getting on at all at work, so missing folks during the day - new rules. Which whilst I'm sure they weren't directly for me - certainly made me think OK no more MSE etc during the day.

Whoops! Life almost 'one house' now - just anohter week of final flitting to sort then I'm sort of free of the house until the end of August when my ex-landlord is finished using my beds etc and then I can flit my big stuff from the house. (I've more beds than sense it would seem - curse of a big house/hoarder!)

Hey 69chick -- the new house is chaos - boxes/things everywhere - the old house is almost completely sorted - but its so slow!!

I hope you're well - I'm a bit like Miss P - when on the old wine - it tends to creep back up on me - so its best avoided, if I'm honest - don't feel like I'm doing so well but baby steps :)

I feel it is like that with me too, creeps back up from a glass to another one, then half a bottle is gone and maybe the whole one. The next night arrives, and the thought arrives 'why not have another one?'

So.....I've decided thats it once and for all. Alcohol does not agree with me...I do not agree with alcohol....and I think MY life is better off without it.

This is exactly how I now feel towards alcohol and after 3mths AF I still keep saying to myself how much better I feel, then on the other hand thoughts keep popping in about having a bottle of lager when on holiday and I'm pretty sure I won't enjoy it.

Holiday trigger wound up strongly, keep saying to myself stay strong because it's what you want and feel better as a result and what is the big deal about not drinking? There is no big deal - only pluses, no bother what others think, just yourself, lots of people drink at the drop of a hat and lots don't drink at all

Must keep reminding myself that I feel better, happier and more positive every morning I wake up with I have been AF

Forgot to say AF tonight making a marvellous number 17

Will be buying some nice food for tomorrow's tea to accompany the match and a nice big bottle of fizzy pop, maybe dandelion and burdock?
