I have a special world cup memory

I was 7. We were on holiday in Poland visiting family for the one and only time. It was a big deal going over there at that time.
The year was 1966. I remember watching the final (not all of it - I was 7!) I can still remember the roars of the adults! They were delighted with the result of course!

Just buried my Giant Rabbit who collapsed and died suddenly in the Garden this afternoon. He was only just over 1. OH is really quite upset

It is the first time they have really experianced death and even though it was a pet it is hard trying to explain what happens when animals die.

Oh well onwards and upwards I suppose
