One more AF day for me so that's 2 for me please Miss P.
Sorry to hear about your hayfever. It sounds awful.
All this talk of gardening is making me think I must do some more. I meant to today but it was too hot here.
I went to Mr T's tonight to occupy myself and it was sweltering hot in there and very few cashiers and aisles full of crates and peopl stocking up. Not a good time to go it seems.
I have a late night again tonight as I'm going into town to pick up DS1 and friend at 2. Out clubbing for someone's birthday. Attempting to remain calm this evening and not worry too much!
Night,

Hi there Db:hello:
I'm up late too after my "nap" earlier! Feeling much better but very wide awake! AF tonight....am on the cherryade tonight.
OH just gone to bed. Had slight argument over something silly (ie he thinks I'm incapable of walking from his works to mine....45 min walk!) so he's gone off to bed. We'll be fine in the morning...always are!

Hi All
Ok confession time been another bad day...not AF
Took friends dog to the coast for a long walk.
My neighbour came round tonight... friend of OH, said it was all my fault we broke up
Felt really upset, I said that no one in the close seemd to talk to me anymore.
He said that I should have tried harder, yet he forgets it was OH who went off with someone first.
So yes I have had too much to drink, will try harder tomorrow...sorry

Firstly NRA...no need to say sorry on here
Secondly...If anyone comes round to moan tell them to leave.
YOUR life...YOUR rules.
Sorry but it makes me mad!!

I do something every single day to make me walk away from drink, not towards one. It could be speaking to another alcoholic, writing a list of 10 things I am grateful for because I am sober, getting to a meeting, etc
I either am heading towards a drink or moving away from one - there is no standing still for me.
If I don't do anything to protect me from drinking, I am not taking responsibility for me alcoholism, and I am letting my family, friends, and most of all myself, down.
Hiya Graeme,
Hope you're having a relaxing weekend
I wish you were my sound, sensible older brother!
After a week off the booze, I ended up buying a 4 pack of Becks, yesterday, when I went to the shop for milk etc..
I've hardly ever drank at home, so this is no good.
After necking the cans at mine, I withdrew £100 from the cash machine, and went straight to the pub, at about 1pm
A real, rough, drinkers pub at that. No good.
Met my Girlfriend, in the same pub, after she'd called me around 2pm
Ended up drinking together, and about 2 hours later, she ended up causing am almighty scene, telling people in the pub I was an alike. V embarassing.
I stayed calm, and we came home.
This morning, felt *fairly* rough. It seems to be affecting me on some, superficial level, less. This is not good.
Girlfriend ended up freaking out this morning, and scrunched my debit card up, so I couldn't withdraw any more money.
I was about to 'run off' to the pub again at about 11am, with the £40 I had left in my wallet, but I stayed calm, and after Girlfriend has calmed down, we sorted a few things out, and I saw sense and stayed put and sober.
No booze today. Minor victory.
Life is still a mess though
Cheers,

Hi NRA,
Sorry to hear you've had grief off your neighbour.
My neighbours are a nightmare too!
Wish I could go and live in a croft, in the middle of nowhere sometimes :rotfl:
Try not to beat yourself up about drinking (a feeling I know only too well), as it's a vicious cycle.
Tomorrow is a new day for all of us.
Take it easy
Big bear hugs at ya.

Hugs to NRA and Sim xx
Sim do an inventory of cupboards tonight or in the morning and do a shopping list to get rid of that 40 quid, challenge yourself to see how many meals you can get out of it, before it burns a hole in your pocket with all the wrong things x
I'm up late tonight, managed to stay awake for a whole film. Wolfman it was and yes it was exactly as the title describes..
Has anyone got thunder storms yet, quite a few friends on facebook are saying they are big ones all various places in the country, nothing in London yet, just hoping it doesn't wake us all up!

Hiya,
No thundertorms here yet but I did see what I think was a flash of lightning half an hour ago. I hope it keeps away until after I go out and come back. I like them when I'm at home but not when I'm out!
Hugs to Sim and NRA too. Your neighbour sounds horrible. I wouldn't let him in again if I was you.

Hi All Hugs to everyone, Sim and NRA dont; beat yourselves up i was drunk every single night last week, and working early shift too, but onwards and upwards, hope everyone is ok. At long last can i declare 1 AF day woo hoo! Thanks Miss P x Feel positive about keeping it up. last night went out for a rather big meal and did buy a half bottle of vodka, ended up having one out of it then thinking whats the point you're so bagged up nothing will happen so stopped at just the one and went to bed to have very weird dreams. A bit disappointed that i couldn't declare for last night though but at least i stopped at one. Night every one up at 6 tomorrow God help me but once i've had a coffee i am usually fine! XXX0
