Me too - must have been well over £200,000 - which is enough for a house!! I have some good memories to show for it, but by the end I was not having many good times, and spending more and more.....0 -
I just tried to work out how much I have spent on alcohol over the last ten years. It was about £25,000 and that is probably a conservative estimate.:o

Me too - on both counts. I could have paid off my mortgage!
Had a very sleepless night last night as didn't hear from DS2 until 2:30 am and then couldn't sleep anyway having gotten so anxious!
I'm attempting a big tidy-up upstairs in this heat. I must be mad.
I have to sit down every 10 minutes. So unfit! Almost done so not having such a strenuous afternoon but need to go out shopping.
Hope you are all enjoying Saturday,

So far today I have stained a corner planter with the first coat, planted up 2 lots of peas and the last sweet pea seedlings.
This afternoon is tomato potting on, sunflower potting on and other coat of wood stain and find some more room for brocoli and cabbages and a sweep up.
Nice relaxing planting and potting on day today and no one bell ringing today
I think it was the Friday summer evening bell combined with stressfull week at work but at least I didn't fall back on alcohol as the memory of the groggy feelings was one I don't want to feel again WOMO and for nowfinal unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
Afternoon all. We were up early to drop DS into town to stay with friends and the traffic was horrible. I need to spend some time on housework today as I've been ignoring all week due to half term
I wasn't AF last night but I could tell I'd had enough half way through the third glass and took note from Honeybear and poured the rest down the sink and went to bed. Felt rough this morning though, enough to make me think I can't be bothered to drink tonight (hope that feeling stays with me!).
Sparkles you put me to shame with all your gardening, I struggle to remember to water the couple of pots I do.
I'd hate to think how much I've wasted on booze as I really notice the difference now I'm buying a lot less. Even DH has starting to make his bottles last as long as possible and doesn't mind if we run out mid evening. That would have been ww3 in our house not long ago.
Hope everyone is well and has a good Saturday, Pen xThis time I haven't smoked since 6th Jan 2014 and still going ok.
Fingers crossed x0 -

OOoh where you off to MP? What am I gonna do without you??
Talking of holidays, we booked a week away in August last night, off up Norfolk way (BHB I'll wave on the way past). The last time I went there was in 2006 and I had my one and only AF week away, lets hope that this will happen this year
I reckon I've spent in the region of £30k, just on the alcohol I've drunk home alone, this doesn't include going out to pubs or clubs
Hair cut, kids hair cut, now I need to wrap this present (thankfully the hairdresser lent me her sellotape *rolleyes*) and gotta drop DD2 to the party. I'm now doing a raindance so I dont have to take DS and DH to the park
Have a lovely afternoon all, was planning on summat exciting for dinner but that will keep me in the kitchen and I don't wanna do that, so I'll buy summat I can shove in the oven quick
