The bells clanged loudly for me this afternoon and the volume increased and I very nearly went up to the spare room the get a bottle of wine from there and put it on fast freeze to chill.

Managed to talk myself out of this somehow and went to buy a chip butty instead and 2 glasses of pop.

I haven't felt as tempted as this in a long time - work has been so bad I said if I hadn't stopped drinking Iwould be thinking only 2 hours to go until I open the bottle of wine to chill out

Sat down and watched Great British Menu, chilled for an hour, then felt better, had my tea, now think I will clean the LR and kitchen in the next hour to free up some time this weekend for gardening

Thank goodness for basics orange squash and fizzy water - it worked!

A well deserved AFD 4 for me please miss P

    Sorry Guys

    Have been very naughty tonight.:(

Went to Asda and bought a large steak (cost a fortune!!!!) and also 3 bottles of wine.

It has been so busy today and I dont feel I have stopped all day. A lot of my work colleagues went to
a "do" last night, some didnt get in till 3 this morning.

As I think I mentioned I have only just returned to work after 5 months off sick so didnt think I could cope with a late
night, but in a silly way I was jealous. I cant remember when I last had a night out.

My OH (soon to be ex long story) is going to France in 2 weeks and I just dont feel I have anything to look forward to, so what did I do buy wine.

Sorry if I seem to be rambling, Im not drunk just feeling a bit down.

    Hope everyone else is ok

    ((((((((((Hugs))))))))))

    NRA xx

PS I have not had a drink since last Sunday so had been doing well

NRA, as you will soon learn - here is a great place to ramble! No-one judges as most of us have been there and know how you feel.

Ok, you've bought 3 bottles of wine. You don't HAVE to drink them??? Enjoy your steak (I'm jealous :() and see how you feel then.

    ((hugs))

Thought I'd let you all know, I had a bit of a EUREKA!! moment the other day (diet related, not alcohol related so bear with me!!)

As most of you know, money is tight in the Piggy household, so Magazines are a real treat to me. Whenever I buy one I automatically go to the dieting ones...slimming world, WW, rosemary conley etc. I did this the other day and was stood looking at them when it occured to me I can eat what I want!(PMK says so:p) and that I don't need to buy dieting mags! So I edged along the rack a bit and bought myself "Good Food"! :D

I felt SO pleased with myself as I left the shop, big grin on my face. Its nice to think about cooking things without counting calories, fat or points!

Also....I haven't weighed myself (determined not to for 90 days:eek:) but my jeans are slightly looser and my face looks a bit different IYKWIM.

So there...but I now have 3 (yes 3) cookery magazines and a shopping list as long as my arm!!!:rotfl::rotfl:

Well done Marru!:T I do find I'm most tempted to drink when I've had a stressful day with Piglet, so well done you for resisting the temptation.
