  • Morning all,

Your cooking always sounds amazing Jo.

I was just sitting here thinking I've spent too much this weekend when I realised my car tax is due tomorrow .

A day of housework and gardening planned here.

    Have a good day everyone.

    I love Piglet :T
For some strange reason I have found myself thinking that we are in a soap. By that I mean isn't it strange to think that we all write about our lives on here. (Some of us do longer posts than others ;)) and people will pop in each week and update on how we are all doing?

We could be on location at Bear Towers.

You'd all be very welcome, tho it would be a bit of squeeze! :D

115K, just wanted to send you lots of love & support. You are worth more than this so I hope you can find a way to be kinder to yourself *hugs*

Jo, I'll be round later for dinner ;)

Hi all- Jo, whack the whole bottle in asap, meal will taste amazing and you won't be tempted to have a little slurp as you cook. Boots look great, buy them immediately!

Good luck Marru, although I expect you are well on your way now.

Hope all fed up people from yesterday are feeling more perky and chipper, have a great bank holiday everybody.

(115k- you OK?, let us know if you need any moral support today)
  • but I could have them in exchange for 35 days sober

    That is a challenge!

Hope everyone is OK- Jo, a thing I used to do when tempted and needing to give someone a lift was to drive in my pyjamas with no bra on-there was no way I could possible enter a shop looking like that and it worked!!!

Oh my gosh, that made laugh.:rotfl:Thank you Eselt for your advice yesterday. It's good to know that for the future.

Thank you everyone for such lovely supportive messages.:A I did end up self harming yesterday but I didn't contact anyone. I was going to call up yesterday but I thought I will try and hold out until tomorrow when I have an appointment with my psychiatrist and my psychologist. My DH bandaged me up and washed my hair for me last night!:o I ended up taking one of my anti-depressants and going to sleep.

I feel better today although I had horrible dreams all night (that tends to happen to me on medication.) I have just had my brekkie and taken another tablet so I should be okay today.

This will deffo be an AF day today so that brings me to 9 days I think.

Thanks again, everyone is so sweet and non-judgmental on here.:T

I just remembered someone rang our doorbell at about 2.30 last night. I nearly jumped out of my skin. It was a cab and he rang our bell instead of next door.:p

HB, I've made two stock pots full of it, should feed 12 people ;)

We are all having it tonight, then tomorrow I'm out for dinner with my old office work crowd so them indoors will have enough for tomorrow as well whilst I'm tucking into my prawn cocktail and steak  I will also be boxing some up for my dear ole mum for tomorrow and the day after :)

Whole lot went in, made 2 lots so I've got half wine and half stock, I wouldn't have drunk any anyway....don't really like it much (unless it's during bell time after 4pm :undecided)

Yeah.....where was that location again ;)

Okay I now stink of shallots and garlic and my top smells like bacon fat _pale_ so I'm off to get changed and get the kids ready for a day out at toysrus and sainsburys :D

Eselt, can't afford boots yet, but will soon ;) Bought these instead for now :D

DD1 has just got up, asked me for water and a bucket. She has the most hideous hangover and keeps asking me 'what do I do'. This is one occasion that I don't want to swap places with one of my kids when they're ill, it was hard enough getting to this unhungovered state today as it is.

I am so hoping that she learns from this and doesn't do it again *rolleyes*

She's still laying in bed in the same clothes she went out in last night and asking 'why did I do this to myself', she's shaking which is scaring her. Didn't want to mention that the shakes are 24/7 for me :undecided

I've made her toast, given her ibuprofen and told her to stir my 2 pots of bourginon whilst I'm out so it doesn't burn, least the alcohol has burnt off now :rotfl:
