DD1 wants dropping to the station  I said no, but in reality I can't expect her to get on a bus with her ridiculously short dress and stupidly high heels.

Looks like I'm going out, this is a nightmare. I've eaten dinner, must eat the other half of those biscuits before I venture out...

I have finally got something done :p

Bathroom and en-suite cleaned. Hoovering done and now bath mats are in the washer. Polished and cleaned all through. Sprayed my zoflora around every work surface etc. I like the clean smell.

May light some candles now and an insense stick.

Will mop the floors tomorrow and clean the conservatory windows, they always look fine until the sun shines ;)

So at last we have progress :D

Jo hunny be careful not to stop off, if you take DD out. Hope you are feeling ok with everything? Big hugs matey and take care, btw where is our lovely Fay? (()) xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Eselt as Miss P says, really wonderful post. Thankyou and when 115k logs back on there is some excellent advice for her. :A Big hugs and nice to see you back, I had been asking where you were? (()) xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Did you see the Red Bulls collide earlier? Oh Dear Adrian Newey with his head in his hands. I could feel his pain.

Anyway hugs to everyone tonight, and Bear Hugs to Ms Honey B if she is about?

    Dear Lurky where are you?

Ok off to pootle some more.
    Budgie over and out

  • 115K - so sorry to hear what you are going through. I hope you get the help you need and fast. So many people on here have tried to help and have given very good advice and I can't add anything to that.

What a caring bunch you are. ((()) Budgie - you have a heart of gold.

I'm in a strange mood. Kind of absolutely sick of the whole subject of alcohol today. It dominates my life and I'm just fed up of it.
I'm approaching the last chapter of the Allen Carr book. where the easyway to give up is explained. I kind of know what's coming. Most of the book is explaining what a horrible addictive drug alcohol is and that there is nothing good about it at all. He tackles things like does it relax you, make social occasions more fun etc. All the reasons why we think we can't enjoy life without it in fact. The easyway I think is that we can realise this and approach giving up with joy and have freedom from it. In fact I think he's saying there's nothing to "give up" just everything to gain. I'll see tomorrow when I finish it.

I'm also just sick of how teens get so into alcohol. DS2 asked me for a pack of cards and I thought how nice - playing cards together. No - it is for drinking games :( He has no money so can't drink tonight but won't listen when I say how stupid it is to be doing that. His answer is that everyone does it! Maybe that is the key to it all. So many people do it that it seems normal.

Sorry for the ramblings but glad I can let it out on here.

Blimey BB- I don't do that much housework in a month (note to self, stop whinging that you haven't got an en-suite- you forgot it will need to be cleaned). The flylady thread would be proud of you!

Loved all the contraversy about the Red Bull clash this afternoon- some people suggested that Webber was told to turn his engine down and Sebastian L told to turn his up because the austrian owners were keen for Sebastian to win as he is golden boy and would be a more popular winner in europe- not in my house, I think Webber is great and a really nice chap compared to that other spoilt little brat!

Hope everyone is OK- Jo, a thing I used to do when tempted and needing to give someone a lift was to drive in my pyjamas with no bra on-there was no way I could possible enter a shop looking like that and it worked!!!

    Catch everyone later- eselt

Oooh - Eselt - driving in pyjamas - that was brilliant :T:rotfl:

Hope everyone is ok especially 115.

Budgie your supper would be absolutely my favourite meal ever :p

I am off to London tomorrow to run Bupa 10k - yes the day has come - EEEEK  I have packed my bag, sorted clothes to wear in the morning, going to have a look at the weather forecast, charged my running watch, set up alarm for 5 am, but the timing chip on my trainers... what else? off to go ponder what I have forgotten...

Oooh - almost forgot 30 please DB thank you!!

Good luck for tomorrow Marru! Its gonna be warm tomorrow, take extra water xx

Eselt, lol at PJs and no bra!

I dropped her off and left money at home so couldn't be tempted. DB I feel a little like you tonight cos I sat outside the pub watching all the girls in their little dresses and stillettos sipping cocktails. Ah well, I can't talk really!

So I've safely clocked up another please DB, bit shocked actually!

115k, let us know you're ok xx

Good luck for tomorrow Marru, really hope you have a lovely time. Big hugs (()) xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Eselt the pyjamas are a classic :T

DB thankyou for updating the scores sweetheart. :T

Ok I am off to bed in a short while so will log off now, just hoping 115k is ok?

Hugs to everyone and Budgie must be organised tomorrow.

Oh btw I have been reading the benefits of drinking water, there are many but it is linked to weight loss. I am drinking 2 litres a day :D. Apparently most of us ignore drinking water, to the degree that our bodies hold onto the little we give it. When you do start to drink it in abundance your body will then release what it has been holding onto.

Just thought I would promote more water drinking, it helps to stay af too

Ok going now don't want to bore anyone with a water speech.

    God Bless
