AF tonight for me. Usually do on a Friday as DSs are out and about.

Last day of 6th form today so DS2 and mates were round earlier with a lot of beer. I went out for a couple of hours and came back. No mess to be seen so I thought how good of them to take away empties. Then I walked into my dining room :eek:

Big day for me tomorrow as singing and playing in a concert. Still coughing though so that's making me even more nervous and worried than usual.
Keep fingers crossed for me Last night's rehearsal was more coughing than singing.

Hello everyone,
What a lovely day its been....hope you all had sunshine too.I have been out and about all day with my top off;):D

Trouble is though....this is when I crave a drink.....lovely warm summer evenings in the garden with a glass of something.
For a short time today I argued with myself about whether just one glass of something would really hurt......
Sensible side won the arguement though so I bought myself some AF Becks....really does taste like the real thing so it did the trick.

Am looking forward to a lazy day in the garden tomorrow.I cant remember the last time me and DH had a whole day to do nothing and no kids visiting................well up to now that is:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Morning all!

Am I the first today? Everyone having a lay in? Lucky devils if you are...Piglet crawled into our bed at 6.15 and then proceeded to wriggle for England! I gave up at 6.45 and got up. Glad I did though as its lovely out. 7 o clock I was wandering around the garden checking my little vegetable plants and giving things a water.

Off to Tescos soon to get Piglets sandpit. He's very excited:).

MP - well done on resisting the lure. Its definately the hot weather that does it I think!

I had a lie in this morning till 8am, the latest its been for a while.

Well done Molls for staying strong - you have come so far and well done for sticking to it. I know how the sunny warm weather acts as a trigger so I have stocked up on Dr Feelgood pop and squash to help

Feel like a walk up to the shops today but I really want to crack on with the garden today and I don't need anything either

Unfortunately even though I said I would be af yesterday I wasn't In my defense my twins drove me potty yesterday, culminating in one of them ending up with a chest of drawers on top of her :eek::eek: (apparantly she thought she would climb on top of it !) so when dh opened a bottle of red wine to marinate tonights din dins with, I decided the other half was going to be marinating me

However I really shouldn't have set myself up as I do 'allow' myself to drink at weekends (my rule being only when the youngest 2 are in bed - which helps to keep me moderate)

Today won't be af as having inlaws over for a meal (I am having pheasant a which was what was being marinated) and dh and his dad are having Grouse! I have never eaten either so am hoping I will be ok with the pheasant - if not we are having Dauphinois potatoes with it which I love so I won't go hungry

Miss P I have a serious crush on Phil Glenister...(and not just on Gene Hunt have always liked him) my friends think I am potty! Hope piglet enjoys his sandpit - your day sounds much better now than it did when you were decorating...(oh and I just ate a piece of toast really slowly and where I would normally automatically have 2 pcs I was 'satisfied' with 1 )

Well done on your continued afness Miss Mollypolly hope you have a nice relaxing day, I might try that af becks myself if we have any barbecues this year...

Budgie will you get another treadmill now? - why not join us on the 'couch to 5k' thread I am really enjoying my runs, well at the moment they are small runs with a lot of walking' but I feel great afterwards - really clears the cobwebs and also its free :money:
