Hello,
I am a bit absent but I am glued to THIS website to see what Barry is up to. I will get to meet him at some point in August when it is my turn to take him around the coast. I have signed up to just over 15 mile stint. Also I have 10k race and exams coming up so busy busy... Which means that no time to drink which means that half way through the challenge now please Sparkles and 18 for Merry May please DB.
Sim - well done you and as Miss Piggy said don't take things personally, I am sure it'll work out in the end."Everything will be alright in the end. If it's not alright, it's not the end."

 Winebox! Good luck with having no alcohol in the house. Its always fatal to have any in mine...if its not there I'm not bothered. Wierd isn't it??
Not sure, tbh Miss P - if I'm that determined to drink I will, & sometimes I think maybe it's cheaper (£££) to have it in than drive 10 miles to buy some (erm, yes, that's my round trip to the nearest shop of an evening) but am trying to make it harder for myself!
I also like to try and not drink WOMO - love the shortening WB
Aw shucks - all credit to Lurks! (are you lurking?)I just ate baked beans on toast (5 slices!:o)
5 slices?? You won't get the duvet down off the ceiling all night luv! Erm, neither of you smoke do you?...... !!!!!! don't strike a match:D
Oh me & the fonts - just making smalltalk :rotfl:
Sim you're doing great - hope you can keep the frustration under wraps x

Everyone's sounding chipper on here !
I'm still AF. Liked the article GC. My Aunt was an alcoholic and it eventually killed her, she didn't drink every day, but when she did drink she would do it in 'style' 3 or 4 or more litres of brandy, offy would deliver to her, resulting in her losing days and days. Then she could go weeks until the next bender. Goes to show that alcoholics aren't always every day drinkers.
Life generally here is pants! Skint as a ......skint person. So skint in fact we have cracked.....literally the terramundi...whcih held a respectable £297.01. So that means DS will get a birthday present, we will have a bit of treat money for our caravan hols come half term and I might even be able to buy some sandals!
Resisting temptation form Barclaycard who have just upped my credit limit, meaning I have £8k 'available' to spend. Someone tell me I'm doing the right thing not succumbing to this temptation!Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. I wondered, how on earth the homeless guys at the charity, cope when faced with such blatant ineptitude :-/

This is why - believe me - massive caseloads, huge amounts of admin work and paperwork even in paperless systems and targets to meet, and a lot of minimum funding meaning less workers and high numbers of service users. Staff don't put people off coming into treatment its because they are so busy because of the above.
Plus if you DNA 3 appts looks like you are not interested in treatment or support.
