Well done Sim!! :T If you really want to work there give him the benefit of doubt but in the end you need to think about you and taking time to see all those people you have been contacting today.
Back later with stars as I am pretending that I am working at the moment."Everything will be alright in the end. If it's not alright, it's not the end."

Sorry, can't wave 'cos computer won't let me. Hope you're all having a lovely day.
Haven't been very good lately:o, although all drinking days planned but one 's*d it' day. However still hoping to meet target (just) by end of month. I seem to be struggling with posting lately too. I've never wanted to give up but starting to feel 'uncomfortable' that I haven't got great scores like others (insert shruggy).
I know for me that I would set myself targets to manage my drinking, and then frequently change the original target to allow me to drink.
Or I would set a target that allowed me to drink pretty much when I wanted as it was so low.
I know for myself that I am alcoholic, and this alcoholic couldn't manage well without drinking fairly regularly. Even though I didn't drink everyday, I still exhibited alcoholic behaviour. The thought of having a month or two without drinking was horrifying and totally unrealistic.
Someone said to me that if you have to control your drinking, then it is out of control. They were right about me0 -
Afternoon Folks.
boo, I just wrote a huge long essay about how a dependency on booze had pretty much caused me to be in serious debt, how it affected/ruined other apects of my life and how by cutting down and imposing certain rules had allowed me regain control and prompt the all important LBM.
but unfortunately, I got logged out of the forum when I hit the 'post' button and it is now foroever lost.
needless to say, it was probably not the most interesting of reads for a neutral and all a bit self indulgent but at least it sort of made me feel better to write it and not impose it on everyone here.
I'm going alcohol free from next bank holiday monday until the following bank holiday with a group of friends, it's easier when you do it with other people and can be fun too.jusqu'ici tout va bien0 -

Welcome brokepaolo.
I always appreciate reading other people's essays about drink, and what is costs them. It reminds me that I don't want to go back to it, and also reminds me that I am only one drink away from it. If I drink, my past become my future. Glad it made you feel better committing to electronic paper. Things seem more real if I write them down.
Good luck with being alcohol free - I needed help from others too. I couldn't break my alcohol dependency (I am alcoholic) by myself, and needed and still need support. I don't have a day when I plan on drinking again, as I know I'll end back up where I started. I just do 24 hours at a time without a drink, and then decide the next day if I am going to drink. For the last 2 and a bit years, I have decided not to drink, and been happy with that decision.0 -
Well done graeme, that's impressive.
I'll see how my alcohol free May(well almost all of it) goes.
Every year my sister and I have a month of no boozing between our respective birthdays which amounts to about a month. We both party far too hard on those occasions so it's good to have a break and someone to take that break with.jusqu'ici tout va bien0 -
