can you also add me to the challenge please Marru

Done
About the dog thingy - I have decided that after my exams in June I will contact the rescue I have been fostering for before and tell them that I am available again. This way I can help more dogs."Everything will be alright in the end. If it's not alright, it's not the end."

Hi everyone, long time no see
hope you are all well and keeping chins up.
just thought I would pop in and how lovely to see a challenge I can stick to!
I have been on weight watchers for the last week and have managed to keep off the alcohol in the week, and only include a glass of wine if I have points left (over the weekend)
things are still very tense (now planning a wedding but had a big row with h2b over money and now not sure I want to do any of it) but I managed to resist the temptation to stop for a bottle of wine on the way home.
it's not difficult to see that alcohol is responsible for a lot of the weight I need to lose, and has been costing me money I can't afford as well. grrrr!
so please add me to the 96 hours to the end of April

When I came home from work I threw some stuff into SC and it smells wonderful so off I go to check it out and then bath. Back to dish out stars later."Everything will be alright in the end. If it's not alright, it's not the end."

Hi Shaggy, it must be another Wanna Bee Free over on the diet thread, not me. Wish it was though as Devon cream teas sounds yum! I've had boring reasons involving physio, feeling very sorry for myself = poor me = pour me a drink. At least I've set the benchmark back down for future scorers as some of you recently have been amazing so I'm now an easy act to follow.
Welcome back 115K and Cazza's Mazza and welcome to Millie2008.
Marru, thanks for the challenge - I've made it past bells o'clock tonight - thanks for your help!!

Good night everyone.0 -
Evening Folks,
Well have decided to step up the walking campaign....aiming for 10miles a week to try & beat the blues....& keep me fit of course although my allotment is the equivilent of my `gym workouts`....& much cheaper!
26 days AF for April & I still do a day at a time & the other day did have a little `tinkle bells` moment so I can never be complacent...ever!!
Also whilst walking today I worked out that I have be AF for 241 days which at £4 a day (my old estimate daily alcohol spend) I have saved £964 !! Wow !
Well thats my little waffle for today....off to fight the insomnia now.
Night xx

Guys and Gals,
You are lovely.
Sober here :-)
Venturing back out of my flat in the morning, to pick up breakfast, and to post my Ebay parcel.
Just watched Russell Brand on TV.. Hilarious. Love that man.
Has cheered me up a bit.
Night night all,
Sim x0 -
Still can't sleep.
Hope you don't mind me offloading on here.
Keep thinking about my late Mum and Nan.. my ex - Girlfriend - they were all so lovely, and I miss them dearly.
Really need some help, with starting to live in the here and now again.
A few months back, my Doc referred me to a place, where they do CBT.
Yesterday - Monday, I had a call from the CB Therapist, who's asked me to call back , to rearrange.. (I had an appointment last week, which I postponed as I'd felt too low to leave my flat).
Anyway, I'm gonna get up at about 6.45am, to nip to the shop and get some tasty breakfast (have been really scrimping on food).
Then need to call GP to also rearrange (cancelled GP Monday aswell :-/), and will then get on phone to CBT bloke.
I was seeing (about a month ago) a support worker at my local Sustance Misuse Team, and she's lovely..Yep you guessed it.. I've been putting off going back to see her too :-/ Will phone her too later today.
I'll then go into town, to get some fresh air, and post this blinking parcel!
Starting to feel quite a bit calmer.
Still feel very sad about certain things, but seeing as I've blotted them out / drank on them for the past 10 - 14 years, that's to be expected!
I'm now sober, and am gonna get some professional support to *stay* sober, as well as help in trying to get a fresh perspective / reframe my thoughts through CBT, so I can (with time and work) chuck the depression and dire lack of self esteem away... and I'm slowly, but surely starting to get my old focus, drive and dogged determination back :-)
G'night / Good Morning all,
Have a great day,

Hope youWhat do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.0 -
