    Easy really.

Get a Hole in one then you have to buy everyone in the clubhouse a drink thus leaving no money for you to buy one for yourself. ;)

No really, all the best for today and it is a lovely day for it .

Day one of the challenge officially conquered Marru.

Have a good day Sim - sounds like you're really focused and if you achieve a few things on your to-do list - (the most pertinent being staying sober of course) then it will be all positive steps in the right direction.

Enjoy your golf YM on this luuuurvely sunny day

Hope you feel better soon WBF

Sorry, can't wave 'cos computer won't let me. Hope you're all having a lovely day.

Haven't been very good lately:o, although all drinking days planned but one 's*d it' day. However still hoping to meet target (just) by end of month. I seem to be struggling with posting lately too. I've never wanted to give up but starting to feel 'uncomfortable' that I haven't got great scores like others (insert shruggy).

Lurks, you've chosen a fantastic day for your golf. Enjoy!

YM, will you be having party in the garden? Hope it goes really well.

Sim, congratulations on progress to date. Keep it up!

Fay, is OH with you at the moment? I've rather lost touch with 'other adults' in your new home.

Hope everyone having a good day!! I'm loving this weather.
  • Hey Maman - yup OH is here for two weeks starting a bit of 'working from home up here' his work have just OK'd it for him after a long time of asking - why do I get stressed ? Not use to anyone else inputting into our lives I suppose - or something. I think its the same always - few days adjustment needed = we've not lived together for 4 years now - both of us are pretty headstrong.

    Ungrateful wretch really (me).

Not everyone has great scores maman - :) keep posting :) - its a rocky ride!

    I'm taking things a day at a time :)

    Thanks guys and gals :-)

I've now sorted Doc's note for the DWP - and called the DWP to double check dates - all ok.

Have eaten a lovely BLT sarnie for brekkie with tasty coffee.. First morning since Friday that I've eaten anything decent!

Called Substance Misuse and left message for Counsellor to call back, to arrange appt.

Called CBT and left msg, for him to call me back too.

About to have my second gorgeous coffee (I can't do 'just one' of anything!)...

Then, off to call on my mate (she's lovely - been sober over a year / did brilliantly at rehab) and at long last, I'll be nipping into the Post Office to post off Ebay parcel - Cross your fingers, that it weighs less than 2Kg as I can only just about afford it!

The bloke who runs the homeless shelter (where I was due to start Voluntart work, last Wed, until he cancelled with half an hour to spare..), has called again. He left a message yesterday, apologising and asking me to call back to let him know when I'm available.. I really want to work there, but the guy seems a bit all over the shop! Am in two minds..

Right - coffee, then town :-)

Hope everyone's morning is going swimmingly!

    Sim x
