Well done 115k, sounds like a good plan, I am off to use my body butter next. (Wild Cherry :D) Btw do you see your counsellor again this week? If you do I hope it goes well sweetheart. Big hugs and take care of yourself. (()) xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Thank you Budgie. I'm seeing my counsellor this week. She was at the end last time trying to tell me a few CBT techniques to cut down my drinking. One of them was to have a cup of tea before I open the bottle of wine/ can of lager etc. Make that into a habit instead so I should start to crave the tea after a while doing that everyday. I haven't tried that yet.:o I should do.

Hi 115k anything is worth a go and you never know it may work for you. Mr Budgie has been having cbt, but he is now on a conditional management course which runs for 10 weeks. They cover different aspects each week, last week was anxiety, it does seem to be helping? It basically helps you to manage your condition and realise the triggers etc.

The programme runs nationwide I believe, we had a dvd on it off his personal advisor on the esa side. She was very positive over the results that people had achieved.

It is only week 3 tomorrow for him, I was pleased for him last week as another male member joined, On the first week it was all females (A few of them and 2 women running it)

Still as I said to him, it was an achievement that he stayed, as I too would have felt uncomfortable. Especially when they had to play volleyball with balloons, it was an icebreaker aparrently.

So hugs and take care, it is a slow process getting to where we want to be, but at least if we all keep trying, that is what we have to feel positive about.

I hope your next session goes well sweetheart, big hugs and take care, remember be kind to yourself :A (()) xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Miss P sound like you had a lovely day hunny, Marru busted indeed, there is never any escape on here ;)

Nite nite everyone and take care

I thought I'd got that right. This is SIL who you do Mrs Mopping for? What a star and I hope MIL is suitably ashamed at what your family are doing for OH's daughter's prom, unlike her mother....

Strangely enough I used that technique on Friday and Saturday and it worked!! Friday I went to traditional Welsh funeral (wake was tea and cake back in the chapel vestry) and when I got home (after 3hr drive) I told myself I wanted tea. Saturday after a dance (Scottish) I did the same. Before this thread I would have opened a bottle and had (at least) half despite it being late and almost bedtime.

I think sparkles with her 'new look' challenge is using that very whip:D Good to know that Molls is OK though.

I've not been AF tonight. Very stuffed after a full roast with 5:eek: veg plus roasties. Had a good week all in all, as although I clocked up two drinking nights one of those was only one tiny glass.

Back on the wagon tomorrow, not planning AF Tuesday as out with friends, and then full steam ahead towards target.

    Have a good week everyone.
