I am the same, I enjoy the 'me' time of getting my hair done, especially if I treat myself to a (rare) colour at a salon as I get to sit and read trashy magazines in peace....best bit is that I take my glasses of more or less as soon as I sit down and they don't go back on till the end (even if I am just getting a cut) so I am just a blur in the mirror the whole time :rotfl:I just have to look at myself quickly at the end lol.....

Evening all!

Winebox....I HATE getting my hair done (In fact its being done Saturday...bleugh!). Its a friend of the familys that does it. She does my Mum first and makes her look lovely. Then she does me and blow drys it so I look like all thats missing is a blue sodding rinse!! Its AWFUL! Last time the kids were in hysterics. When I wash it though its fine. She cuts it really well but just can't seem to blow dry it right!

Another fun old day in the Piggy household. Not content with setting fire to the toaster, the bloody TV isn't working now! OH bought new scart leads, freeview box etc (which we can hardly afford!) and it still won't work. Must be the aerial or the fact the TV is ancient. Great. Now me myself, I won't miss it...but OH and piglet are going to be like things bereft!!:rotfl:

On the good side...had a lovely Toby carvery for lunch...nom nom!!

Hi everyone. Oh dear Sparkles, you did make me laugh with your dog story - but I do sympathise cos I've been headbutted many times by our doggie and it hurts so much. Announcing another AF day so challenge complete! Woohoo! Thanks again for running these challenges, they really do help. On the hairdressing note - I try not to go too often cos they always cut too much off in my experience - you ask for "just a trim" and come out with a short crop! And don't get me started on the way they blowdry your hair ... talk about bouffant!

Haircuts :eek:. Had some good and some bad but just realised this afternoon that I must have missed my appoinment recently. Didn't put it in my diary.
My hairdresser cuts ok but blow dry? Shocking. One of my list of things I am glum about is my hair. It has gone very thin over the last year and turns out it is a hormone thing. They are deserting me and leaving the male ones floating about to do their worst :eek:. Isn't getting older fun
