    Hi folks,

Hope all of you are well.

I am feeling c r a p, after drinking all day Monday and Tuesday, and getting through £130 :-/

F@cked up my appointments today too (CAB, Doctors, Dentists), and have postponed starting work at the homeless charity (boss is understanding).

Girlfriend is coming over and kindly bringing grub, as I haven't eaten hardly anything for two days.

Am at the end of my tether guys. Gutted for wasting money and health, after going nearly 2 1/2 weeks sober.

Don't know how to do this anymore. Feel so sad.

    Sim x

Sim, sorry to hear you feel so down. I think you really have to make it a priority to get to the doctors. Your health is the most important thing. I would also delay the charity work until you are able to fully commit to it /cope with it.

Lots of ((hugs)) but please, please get to that doctors.

    Miss P
    xx

Funny evening in the piggy household. Felt in bit of a mood and snapped at OH when he said he'd seen a lovely car today and jokingly said if he had £7000 he would buy me it. All I want is my living room decorated and some pretty things in it! I know he was only joking but he lives in such a dreamworld sometimes!

Other than that its been a good day. Piglet been so lovely today - I got loads of cuddles and stuff. I shall have to treat him to Toys R Us more often!!:D:D

No bells ringing tonight which makes a change lately. Desperately trying to stick to the piggy fatloss campaign and wine doesn't help that....OH is picking me up a cross-trainer tomorrow (his mate is selling him it for £10!) and I have a feeling its going to kill me!!!:rotfl:

Sim, don't panic, as MissPiggy says just dust yourself off and start again. You can do it. :)

I'm AF tonight so 3 for the challenge sparkles and 8 for DB.

Might not be able to post tomorrow as I'm away from home for a few days but I'll be here in spirit.

Hi everyone. SIM - don't worry, it happens to us all - start afresh as soon as you feel ready. Just keep posting on here, it's a great support group and we all know how hard it is. I'm always falling off the wagon - but the important thing is to keep dragging yourself back on!
Sparkles, popping in with a quick update - another AF day for me thank God. Busy evening tonight so will return tomorrow and catch up with everyone's news xx

Sim, sorry to hear you have had a rough couple of days, like others have said there is always another day and also as mookie said, keep posting here, we are all here with similar goals and totally understand how you feel....

Miss P, glad you have had a nice day with piglet, hope tomorrow is just as good x

Penelopedee, well done on all your af days....

6 days af please DB and thats day 3 of the challenge done Sparkles...was sorely tempted by one of my favourites bottles of white which unhelpfully was 'displayed' in a big stack in the Spar when I had to go in for milk..ended up buying some magazines instead which I have just read in a lovely bath :) but have to admit I could easily have caved tonight.

Hugs to all who need them...

  • Hi everyone. I've updated scores and will post later.

Sim, I can only say the same as everyone else. You had a great 2 and a half weeks and this was only 2 days so you can get back on the wagon and don't let it carry on. Remember how good you felt. :)

I've just been out with a group of women and the subject of how much we drink came up. There were 8 of us and 4 had never been drunk ever.
Most hardly drank at all. They all came from families where alcohol was not a big part in their lives at all. Really made me think as I come from Glasgow and all of my family were big drinkers when I was young. I couldn't admit to anything like the amount I drink now. It was interesting to hear from the "other side" though. Those who can have one glass of wine and not bother with another for weeks.

    DB x

AF here - watching some tv and catching up on diaries etc :)

I hope you're all good xxxx
