Hi everybody :j
I'm fed up too! DD1 and DD2 at each others' throats - so stressed with GCSEs and A Levels. My work is SO tedious - still doing this maternity cover and still don't know when it's supposed to finish. I've applied for two jobs, but not heard anything yet. So feeling very much in limbo and the 2 DDs finish for study leave this week and it's all so worrying  Poor DD3 is fed up with it all too!
Lovely to see Miss P back - I'm PriceIsRight really, but couldn't get back on this forum so had to change my name!!
Night night all

I think I've guessed what Marru meant with her 'Look what I found' post earlier.
Is it in reference to a brand you can buy via Ocado called 'Look What We Found'?
I shall not rest until this mystery is resolved, so help me God!jusqu'ici tout va bien0 -
Finally caught up on here - whooot! Can't believe I'm one of the middling posters on here, I struggle so much to keep up with this thread it moves so fast. Except when I'm bored waiting for something to happen when nothing happens for ages.
So, to Elvis, Glasgow Girl & Miss P.
Glad I didn't put my foot in it now and ask to be added to another challenge if there was one. Too scary now that it's letting everyone else down if it doesn't happen.
Please can you put me down for 5/16 December Baby.
Good luck to all the challengers.
I survived my regular torture session at the hospital today and think it's the first time I didn't drink afterwards. Progress of sorts. Honeybear, I know exactly how you feel, well it's my right arm not my shoulder, but apart from that. Good time to offer to score on here I have to admit!
I'm in a strange mood this evening. Kind of tired but processing loads of stuff. Can't describe it. I feel like the middle bit of the wake of a boat where it's been really crazy and then you get a brief stillness in the middle before the bumps come back and get you. I bet that makes no sense so I'm off now. I am sober, honest!0 -
Well, being flippant (as ever) I would cheer up immensely if the BBC got Gord & David off the screen & I could watch Enders & Hobly (sic) City, but seriously DB, sorry you're fed up, a few people on here lately are a bit up & down, I really hope things look up for you v soon. Anything we can help with?
Thanks WB. It helps a bit to know I'm not the only one who couldn't make the challenge. I'm glad we've both been honest though. It did cross my mind for a moment to say that I'd been AF when I hadn't but I couldn't do that.
All sorts of things are worrying and troubling me at the moment so I won't bore you with the list! One thing that's been really upsetting me is that I have a very bad cough. Sounds trivial but it has been going on for over a year. After 8 months I finally recently had tests in hospital. CT scan, lung function tests. There is something strange going on as I had pneumonia at Christmas too. The only thing they came up with is I am slightly asthmatic. They said to try to lose weight as it could be acid reflux. But again recently I had a bad cold and it went straight to my chest. Had antibiotics and last week a course of steroid tablets but still coughing.
It is disrupting everything I enjoy doing. I play sax and sing in a jazz band and choir and have a couple of concerts and a wedding to do in the next few weeks but despair of how I am going to do them. I am fed up of going back to the GP and getting nowhere. He's fed up seeing me too I think.
Its just that it stops me doing the things I really enjoy in life and I need them so I can cope with all the other mundane stuff which doesn't give me any joy. Sorry to moan. Just don't know what to do about it all.
SOS - know just what you mean about study leave and exams. I had that last year and again this year.
After reading other posts I realise we may be ConDemned for the forseeable future. Eek!
Night.

Sorry you're not feeling well DB, but at least you're 'on the case' so to speak and you must go back to your GP over and over again until they sort it out. Poor you having a cough for a year:eek:
Glad your antibiotics have kicked in BHB, can you drink with them?
Enjoy your week off MissP, hope you didn't spend too much at shops.
Unfortunately my computer's not right at the moment so can't open links marru, hope to get it sorted soon then I'll know 'what you found'.
Ashamed to say that a bit like brokepaolo, I missed out on an AF day by one tiny glass. Silly really, I went out for lunch and had fizzy water so very pleased with myself when friend had a large Merlot. On way home I called in to see SIL and she 'persuaded' me to have a birthday drink with her. Drove home, OH wasn't drinking (again:eek:) so I didn't either. So while I can't clock up another day at least I'll feel fine tomorrow.

Morning all :hello:
11 Merry AFDs for me please DB
ShaggyWhat do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.0 -
