Did mine in 2 evenings, wanted to finish it the 1st night but forced myself to put it away. i really enjoyed doing this project so thanks for setting it up.
Would quite like to do a few more squares now, perhaps a gift for a new baby. Did anyone save the whole alpha?

Ive not received them yet to post on to you, ill post them on to you as soon as I get them, you can use whatever left over colour from the square you have or I can post some of the purple to you with the square?

Emzy, sweetcarer, I have a spare square of Aida...not sure why though...and plenty of purple (333), so if you want me to send it to someone...or if there is another square needing to be done, then I am happy to do it.

I am away tomorrow, but will catch up in the evening.

No stitching done since finishing my niece's bookmark...giving it to her tomorrow...got to make two cushion covers tonight to give to my sis tomoz too...so had better get a wriggle on!!

PS Also have plenty of gold too!!

Been poorly ick since tuesday in bed/on sofa under duvet so nowt posted and nowt sewn either. Wrist still sore although not broken and ankle twisted - am safer staying in bed atm I think. Even feel too yuck to pick up needle and thread (or even cake)

Keiss There are still 2 word squares to be done...'Quilters names' and 'designed by Joan Elliott' So its up to you, you can either post the square to Sweetcarer or if you have the time keep it and do one of those squares... im not sure we have all the quilters names yet though, so that one may have to wait??

sweetcarer - I will send you the square and threads ...though probably not until Monday I'm afraid, as off to Slough tomoz. Don't think I have any stamps atm to send it sooner. PM me your address so I can send it all to you.

Emzy - happy to do another square, but will have no Aida left once I send this one to sweetcarer. I can wait until someone sends me some though. I have some 14 count Aida, but is seems quite creamy compared to the MSE one, so can use it unfortunately.

Off to bed now...up far too late...and got no sewing done :mad:

Hope youget better soon Dora...rest as much as you can....now that's an order!!
