Off topic but its bugging me.... sewer or sower? neither seem right to me, a sewer is something for sewage and a sower is someone who sows seeds but I can't think of another way to write it for someone who sews....or am I being an idiot lol
How about plain old stitcher or even cross stitcher.
Ok dokes, I am all done with the donations square - here is some piccys to share.:j
Just lettering (in red)
With gold border
All done - washed and pressed
Didn't find my big iron - so had to use my wee travel one. Still wonder if kitten nicked it. See my thread on other thread about cats nicking stuff.
Kind wishes to all

If anyone still wants me to stitch another square, I need another Aida square...as well as details of what to sew.
Mind you, I am off to Scotland next week (6th) and wont be back until the 18th...so if you want something done more quickly, then best to ask someone else.
Going to have a go at stitching by the light of my new lamp tonight...looks wonderful...it is coming to Scotland with me.
Will pop on again over the weekend...this quilt is going to look soooo good when it's done!

What about 'Needleworker'That's what the online Thesauraus is giving me, that seems to work for both type of people?
I personally say I'm a stitcher as it's part of 'cross-stitching'0 -
